It's day 1 with limited time. And I notice here people don't vote as carelessly as other places to put any pressure on or find a wagon.

Though with globear, I don't know his usual play to make an actual assessment of his meta. Though it seems a few like that wagon, and that would be a good start with that flip.

I wouldn't mind a counter wagon on quick. Didn't like his town read on ningen so easily. And the reasoning wasn't the best imo. Though that could just be a different of opinion on what he said.

Some people are too quiet. Anyone here that didn't post that usually is like that? That we might see subbed?

Way to hedge a bunch of reads.

 

We have a lot of people who are ignoring the call to claim innocent/guilty, refusing to either comply or object. For the record, all players will be assumed to have claimed Innocent after Day 1. There can be no tolerance for Miller (or possibly Indie) claims after Day 1. I implore everyone to at least read #19 and take some stand on the topic.

I see why you would do this, but Mafia is a bit like poker. You don't want to just tell everyone your hand in a game of poker, right? Sometimes, what you don't say tells more to scum than what you do, and in this case, provided you are town scum now know they won't need to shoot at you while they're hunting the strongest town roles, as you're vanilla.

I'm not sold on this globear lynch. It feels like a lazy option that people are just falling back on because a few people mentioned her name. I don't really want to defend globear, but I don't think passivity is something that implies scum for her if we're going the metagaming route (which is, what, half the reason for the lynch?). I found her to be very passive in death note, and very passive in elsword (i distinctly remember asking her to be more active and engaged then, actually), so the whole lot of nothing she's done so far isn't something I'd point out as standing out in my opinion. I guess I can see why Ningen would think as much, but he should know day 4 is very different to day 1, and players are much more likely to be engaged then.

I mean, if you want to lynch globear for inactivity, or lurking, or general passivity, go right ahead, but the reasoning ought to be consistent. If you go to the meta, then justify it.

Personally, I'd rather go for a hard inactive, but the only one appears to be shanks, so i dont really know what to do with today's lynch. All I've been able to do today is keep up partway with the thread, and I expect that will be the same tomorrow, so if you are going to go with an inactive lynch it'd be wrong of me to not point out that I fit in that category and as such should be considered.

 

I've seen shanks active on forum in general since I started here (about a week). I'm surprised there isn't any posts from him.

I don't really enjoy inactive lynching. Mostly because we aren't really gaining too much from it through reads or wagons. For the most part we would have 1 dead inactive which helps lose loose wait if town or a scum but not much else to go on.

No offence, but IDK why you are pushing for this. I have never once seen one of these methods work where everyone had to agree for it to work ever. Besides that, you're just going to get Mafia claim Innocent and that will pretty much make this whole exercise pointless.

 

I thought you were the person saying "Globear doesn't strike me as the type to be confident as Scum" in Elsword, but correct me if I am wrong.

That's why we go after lurkers D2 and not D1. After D1 lurkers have established that they are not going to post much so each and every one of their posts deserves full scrutiny. There is no other way to deal with lurkers other than pressure, unfortunately.

 

Yeah, but it just seems redundant. The only thing we really get out of it is a Millar and possibly one Scum to fall through the cracks. Correct play for Scum is to have all of them just claim innocent except 1 and hope they don't get investigated. Wouldn't be any different if people didn't say whether they were innocent or guilty because if all Scum just say they are innocent then its a wash a the cop really has nothing extra to go off of. It can clear a millar or make a Mafia look Innocent, that's really all it does.

 

Also, bus drivers are fun.
