Got some familiar faces on the "hasn't claimed yet" bandwagon. @Crispickle and @S H I N T O were both no shows last game in that regard. I'll once again request that they take the literal 5-10 minutes to read my post where I outline what we're doing and why and either participate or raise an objection.

That said, I'm surprised to see @Quick still having failed to participate, despite explicitly discussing other people's submissions. Unlike the other two, he can't feign ignorance in this regard.

I went back and looked for you. I never actually made reads on those people. Until I actually say someone does something Townie or Scummy, it isn't a read, but instead me Scumhunting.

 

And even then, Unless I actually make a readslist or actually say what my read on them is, its just best to assume I am Scum hunting.

I was questioning your logic of how that even made sense. I never stated I thought you were saying it was role fishing. If you look at the response you just quoted it only asks about what you mean when you are talking about never seen scum role fish before. Because it wouldn't make sense for town to role fish another town role. Only way they would try if the person they were fishing for was scum and they knew it.

This is why I asked what you meant because the only people who could be role fishing would be scum. So I asked your stance on what exactly you were trying to elaborate on. I can tel by you saying "I've never seen scum role fish" would mean you don't find me suspcious. And I wasn't questioning that. Just the way you worded your post didn't make sense so I wanted elaboration to make sure I understood what you were even saying.

 

From some places there are games with millers and third parties in like all setups. So it's easier to get them out of the way. Here it might not be the case and why it might seem more likely to be pointless based on usual setups

 

Meh.. it doesn't actually do any harm as long as Rotar actually Scum hunts and doesn't just focus on that.

 

What exactly didn't makes sense to you? The Too Scummy to be Scum comment? The fact that I said I hadn't seen Scum rolefish before? I put "rolefishing" in quotations like that to signify I didn't think much of the argument.

I can see that you could have had that perspective, but I just don't know why you would be confused about my comment. Seemed pretty straightforward to me.

 

Millars are RARELY used in my experience. 3p can investigate as Innocent, guilty or just 3p. Don't know what we would get out of 3p by having to say if they investigate as Guilty/Innocent really. If they investigate as Innocent, then they will say that. If they investigate as anything else, they will say Innocent. It doesn't really help with 3p.

 

BTW, correct play for millar is just to outright claim millar D1. So you can see why I think the whole thing is pretty pointless??

What I think about Nick, I dont see Nick in the same light you see him, infact I see him as townie, and I dont really see the jk in his first post. he puts intelligent posts and from what I have seen he isnt role fishing, or posing any offensive takes on anyone. I'll double check in in case im wrong and actually try to do any read. :/

Thus if miller = waste cop action
Scum = make us rethink about lynching them

and to make survivors come out who sometimes like you did yourself last time never come out by self and save cop waste on them.
