As the group goes on their separate ways, a hidden group of demons scheme their next move. Some refuse to sit quietly.

The sky turns dark and a woman who was just simply observing the group from afar was vexed at the current situation. Knowing that she cannot fail now if she were to complete her mission for the Princess's sake, she uses the cover of the night to hide in another's home, hopefully keeping anyone on her trail off.

A rather talented magician sets up a spell in her abode. She hopes to prevent any of her allies from dying, if not, at least gather clues, but someone else's magic interfered with hers, causing the spell to fail.

A normally clumsy woman was struck by grief by the young boy's death and hoped to somehow bring his spirit in the living world in some way. Although she cannot revive anyone, the deity within her told her that the boy can lend her his strength for the night, and that's what she did.

A young boy is determined to catch the demons in the act. He stalked a person to see if anyone goes after them. Similarly, a beautiful woman also wishes to find information on another through the power of nature. The spirits told her the information she requested.

A holy man was visibly upset by Elsword's death. He questioned if he should continue supporting the El Search Party, but knowing that is what Elsword would have wanted, he went to another person's location. There, he saw a man with a blood stained sword leaving the house. He was unable to catch him, so he went to the victim and healed that person's wounds.

Another person had his own agenda, hoping to find the person who holds the key to his ultimate goal. He too, investigates another with the drones he created. As he waits for the results, he goes to another person's location with the intention to kill. When he got there, he quickly electrocuted his victim from the back, but when he turned to see his victim's face, it was not the person he needed to kill. In fact, it wasn't even the person he followed in the first place. At the distance, he saw a blood-stained sword. @cinderella (Raven) is dead.

The demons had already made their first move with a successful interference. The dark earl was tasked to kill a certain person and with his magic, created a dark figure of his appearance right where the victim lives. The small demon lord saw the strange figure and tried to resist with the power of fear. Alas, she was unable to muster the same amount of power as she did before she was betrayed and way unable to stop her death. The man who she contracted was away, but he felt his contract with the girl fade away. He couldn't help but to think of his regrets as he kneeled over and died. @Crispickle (Lu/Ciel) is dead.

Raven, a commoner that worked his way to become the Captain of the Mercenary Knights, was framed by jealous aristocrats and lost everything he cared for. He vowed to seek revenge against the Kingdom of Velder and the ones who caused his suffering.

As Ciel:
Shackling Chain x2: Bind one person of your choosing. That person will not be affected by anything (killing, being investigated, etc.), but they will not be able to perform their night ability if they have one that night.

NOTE: You will start off with two souls.

As Lu:
Altar of Evil x1: For two consecutive night phases as Lu, temporarily gain your former adult form and choose one target to render vulnerable by nullifying 1 layer of protection placed on them. This ability will not be in effect when you are Ciel, so you may not nullify a layer of protection on even nights.

As Ciel:
Transcendence x1: For two consecutive night phases as Ciel, you will be unaffected by any action from a target of your choosing. This ability will not be in effect when you are Lu.

NOTE: If your target dies before your second night (regardless of which ability as Lu or Ciel), you may change your target. This is so that your ability is in effect for both nights.

I don't think the people that switched off of SK and on to Nick are Scum.

Reason: Scum has no incentive to switch off one Town and on to another. The reason I don't think SK is Scum is based on the fact that he had so many votes near EOD and no offence to this community or anything, but from what I have seen, I don't think that that kind of heavy distancing is likely to make it into this game. This is based on the composition of the content in this thread. I don't think Scum really have any reason to distance themselves with SK.

 

Since @Emily has not posted during the first day and night phases, I'll be looking for a sub for her.

So based on this, I think Globear, Panda, Ansatsuken (dead), Ratchet are all clear in my eyes.

 

I think that's a bit of a reach. Most of the votes, admittedly, on SK were placed simply because he was the popular wagon (I think, out of the total of 6, maybe half of them were actually reasoned before they were cast). It is also a fact that the votes switched off rather quickly, so I don't feel comfortable removing the possibility of it being a botched distancing attempt from some just yet.

Out of all of them, though, I'm most interested in Amatsuki. He came from nowhere and completely threw the wagon into disarray, tying the lynch and then proceeded to ignore all comment about it. Add this onto his earlier poor showing and it doesn't look good. I also think it would be a better indication of SoulKiller, as scum would have no reason to influence the wagon that way if it was between two town, where SoulKiller probably is, objectively, a better player than Nick.

 

Actually, no, not the people who switched off SK to abstain. So just Globear.

 

Where "Amatsuki" is "Ansatsuken". Damn you people with your difficult names.

 

For context, I abstained because the vote was currently tied, and I'm a big believer in lynching Day 1 and avoiding ties. My abstaining was not an indication of me feeling my vote was better placed nowhere, but that a lynch would be better than no lynch. I waited as long as I reasonably could.

 

Town is statistically more likely to switch their votes at EOD from one Town to another.

 

You could have just unvoted??? Why abstain, it makes no sense? Why not vote Nick?
