Have you read over the reasons I gave? I think schpitt is the best suspect we'll get

We're in a lylo situation so indeed we have to be careful with our vote (no shit). I thought that we would have 3 DPs but then the Panda thing happened so we just have this one.

Back then, I actually thought you were some investigative role because you said something about knowing Sage's and Panda's role, but I guess not since you later had doubts on Panda and stuff about Shinigami. That's why I thought that SK was limited to Glo and Schpitt at the time. Later on, I thought that maybe Shinigami doesn't exist after all. However, it does bring to question how Misa died in particular, since her death was made clear to be due to her targeting Shinigami. I said I wasn't Shinigami earlier (as a few people have missed I see), but as you stated, no one in alive right now doesn't seem to come off as a Shinigami. Perhaps the roles of changed a bit and the SK is Shinigami, so instead of them investigating, they have been killing people. It makes sense given the Death Note theme going on since I don't think anyone talked about which character could fit the SK bill.

As Schpitt stated before, the current state of the DP seems to be Ansatsuken vs Schpitt, which tbh, is going nowhere. For a good few pages, it just went in circles.

I do understand Schpitt's point though regarding Ansatsuken. Some of your comments were kinda... eh. I don't think we can just cross someone off as 100% townie because they cooperated to take down scum, which tbh, is a good opportunity to settle in as a townie. Because think about it, if SK were to be a major part, the rest of town would be more likely to have their guard down around them because they played a good part towards town victory. SK and mafia don't work together and they don't know who each other are, so there is a danger of SK getting killed by mafia if they stand out too much. I wrote a post about SK back in DP1 (old af post where Ouki was the attention):

I thought that maybe if we looked into the SK's victims, we could get a hint towards who they were. Since mafia was at a disadvantage from the beginning (Coffee, who was scum, was killed NP1-- so obviously this is SK's doing in retrospect since why would scum kill themselves?), I imagine, which unfortunately, makes finding the SK this way harder because they would be less inclined to kill scum, and finding SK through to who they think is scum is easier than finding SK through who they think is town. They can, however, try to help town regardless to set up a "townie image" and try to get mafia out by lynching, which may or may not succeed. It's a risk because if they are wrong, they could get a backlash and get lynched by town instead. That's why neutral people and passive play is suspicious in regards to being SK, including the playstyle I usually use as I mentioned to Sage before. Nika hasn't done anything particularly scummy, which is something to note, but Ansatsuken could easily have done the same. I need to check Ansatsu's posts before mafia was wiped after I post this for confirmation. I'll check Sage for good measure as well as Nika/Schpitt to be on the cautious side.

That being said, I do have doubts on Ansatsuken, but hey, we have time. On the other hand, we have Schpitt, who is trying to retaliate. As stated before, I'm going to look into it later, but from what I can tell from my memory, I don't recall anything that stood out about Schpitt and honestly, I forgot he was alive a couple of times. At least with Ansatsuken, I was aware of his presence throughout the game.

Then we have Sage who tbh, played a dangerous game if he is SK. Like, if he is, he kinda deserves to win because attempting to lead town while being SK, especially during a time when Shinigami seemed like a likely existence, is almost so risky, it's practically dumb. Perhaps one could call it luck in that sense, but I don't want to lynch him based on little to no evidence, especially during lylo. Schpitt or Ansatsu are better suspects in that regard.

Lastly, there is myself. By the time I post this, you guys probably realize that I haven't been posting much during this last day phase. Honestly, I wasn't kidding about my excuse, even though it's, well, an excuse. If you want me to be completely honest, regardless if I was SK or not, me talking more would have been more advantageous anyways because being active generally allows me to defend myself more effectively, which is good for me, town or not.

Of course, what you guys want to hear is my defense so here are the following points:

> As far as I know, my opinion has been pretty much consistent. When it changes, there is a reason behind it (ex. Changing opinion on Luna after Bim's role was revealed). It's much more difficult
> Although I've been pretty much wrong throughout the game, I really did try to catch scum. When I did suspect someone (i.e. Globear), I gave my reason why and when I think someone is innocent and on the chopping block (i.e. Luna), I gave my reason why. This is almost an unnecessary maneuver for SK, even to keep up a townie act. It's riskier for SK to come up with their own opinions because if they're wrong and they are alone, they could get lynched or if they are right, the risk of getting killed by mafia comes up. The only way to nullify both threats while maintaining a townie appearance is to follow another person's opinion or play passive. One could say I'm passive, but I'm sure you're aware that I gave my opinion when I did. Hell, even if SK wanted to kill off some townies to gain some edge, they would have to make up some excuse to lynch someone that they know is townie, which is risky to do because they would be consciously aware that they are townie. In the case of Glo, she was 50/50 at best.

So between Schpitt or Ansatsu? Leaning on Schpitt, but I need to confirm it before I vote.

Also @SK extra time would be nice

It's interesting your saying there's no shinigami I've the entire time said you seem the most likely shinigami but it seems your legitimately denying it's you.

Also find it hard to believe andatsuken is shinigami as well it could make sense to approach one of biggest people going after Kira but he also seemed legitimately confused whose shinigami. Asking why he didn't use his powers I doubt the real shinigami would ask a question like that.

But in same time when I said your the shinigami Schpitt never claimed you weren't.

Also I found it weird when I questioned andatsuken right now he decided go off line.

Maple if the shinigami does exist why don't you think he used his power to check and help people?

It's cool, the weekend was unexpectedly busy for me.

The only possible way that Shini hasn't been using his power is that he was roleblocked. Remember Cow? His ability can roleblock people so that their action doesn't go through. Unless there is a second roleblocker (unlikely), there is almost no way Shini can exist. Sure, SK could have some wack abilities, but that doesn't sound like a possibility I'm willing to bet. At the lylo stage, there is practically no reason for Shini to not coorperate. Plus, even if there was a second roleblocker, they would have to be blind to not know who Shinigami is at this point because if everyone really looks like the have no idea who Shinigami is/doesn't know 100% if someone is innocent or guilty, that should already be a red flag.

That's why it makes much more sense that Shini is not Cop in this game, but SK. It makes sense from a flavor perspective (Shinigami is technically a race, not a character) and it explains the reason why no one here seems to not know who Shini is. Plus, two cops with unlimited ability usage for town is OP for a game this size.

 

Basically Shini as a cop doesn't make any sense. It would require a combined effort of many limitations for Shini to be useless at this point. Another possibility that I forgot to mention is if Shini just simply ran out of shots, if the number of times they can investigate is limited. Even more useless if the people they investigated are already dead anyways.

Hmm so your saying the person with shinigami role it doesn't blatantly say there shinigami.

Another possibility I want to throughout is maybe shinigami didn't use his powers because he can't but didn't know so simple incompetence of not knowing there role.

Also what do you think SK would play like schpitt has played a game of blending in being quiet that looks suspicious.

While ansatsuken has played an active game targeting Kiras which I wouldn't expect for a first time player he said he's hosted these type of games and know successful playing styles.

I'm sure shinigami exists but would Misa approach a quiet new player or one actively pursuing them I would probably guess karma would think schpitt has a more likely hood of being town.

Also at this point for SK it makes no sense for them to force Lynch so whatever happens as long as their not caught they're good.

It somewhat irked me why ansatsuken went quiet as I was asking him questions.

I think the key to getting SK is knowing whose shinigami.

Your thoughts?

 

It seems ansatsuken was legitimately curious who shinigami was and why he didn't use his powers.

Interestingly as well nikamara voted for ansatsuken for weird reason of being defensive it's possible if she was shinigami she checked him

 

But if schpitt who is subbed for nikamara has ansatsuken info why not push his vote, it could just be due incomplete or nikamara didn't truly check but a person like nikamara whose stayed quiet most of the game why vote ansatsuken. He all east seemed know how to play the game and doesn't seem the type to make frivolous votes.
