Normal Game Thread Big Trouble in Little Salem

I blame nick for this Town loss if Town loses because he didn't defend himself and he didn't claim, which prolly should have let him off the hook.

 

Well I haven't mentioned my own role because I haven't used it. My role gives a gun to someone, it does not give me the ability to kill itself, and it also gives the gun at the end of the day (so it can't be used in the day I gift it). So if a gift it to town, they won't be able to use it until next day phase, which is redundant if mafia have majority.

 

And besides, the game not ending at 4 v 4 was based on my claim that you would have believed in a serial existing. My role has very little to actually do with that there.

 

Except is actually does have quite a bit to do with LyLo considering it affects how and who is killed.

Why do I feel like I was bussed?

 

Wouldn't bussed imply that you are a scum tho? Town can't be bussed.

This has been answered. Are you even reading the thread? It was D3 and I can only use my ability on even days.

Except it doesn't. Because no matter who I give it to, if scum end the day with more players they win regardless, because as I explained, any kill I gift (all one of them) can only be used the following Day. So it doesn't matter if, at 4 v 4, my role is the only role left that can kill anything, because by the time it can be used to kill anything, Mafia would already have had the majority they need.

Let me explain it this way, With a Serial, 4 v 4 means Mafia don't win. With a Vig, 4 v 4 means Mafia don't win. Because the only way Mafia is lynched on their own is if they don't all tie the vote. If they do, then one mafia dies, and one town dies. Then Mafia kill. That's 3 v 2 in favour of Mafia. Now let's say I targeted one of the two remaining. The next Day, they kill one Mafia, and they trade off again, one town lynched one mafia lynched. That results in 1 v 1, a mafia win, before you even factor the mafia kill. So my role doesn't actually impact whether the game is called or not at all. Because it's not the same as killing on the day, like a serial is. Because with a serial or a vig, if the mafia do the above it's 2 v 2 and then 0 v 0, which results in a draw. The point being, Mafia still have a way to not win, which results in the game not being called. If only my role is left (which, for the purposes of the discussion, is the scenario we're looking at), then it doesn;t stop the mafia from winning because the mafia can still kill.
