But I believe this button is actually well needed for mobile and others. Because scrolling long pages of site takes a while there when you wanna go back up

Those dont have magic page up or Home buttons
you have to manually scroll it urself.

 

As staff you want to accommodate member's convenience, not everyone wants to waste time on something that takes 5-10 mins to add. Whether you hold it down or not is up to you, but don't expect that's what everyone wants or does on these sites.
