    Fantastic episode. The flashback with Askeladd and his mother was pretty touching, but he's going far for what he believes in. He went pretty well against all those people, half was seemingly buying time for Canute to escape. Then when Thorkell got there and what's his face passed out lol. Thorfinn's entrance was epic, so keen for next ep. @Blazing Storm Thorfinn vs Thorkell next ep

    Episode 18 was so good. Had some of that awesome battle and then also some mad character development for Canute.

    Episode 19 was just amazing. The way the battle ended was amazing. The scene with Thors leaving and dominating Thorkell was also great. The ending scene with Canute, Thorkell and Askeladd was phenomenal.

    Episode 20 was great! The standoff between the King and Canute. Canute has developed nicely into a lot more of a likable character now that he has some balls. I also enjoyed Askeladd's moments this episode. Both with the King and then letting the brother's go. Ironic that his only man left is Thorfinn.

    Episode 21 was great. Thorfinn meeting Leif again was very well done. The whole planning part with Canute, Thorkell and Askeladd certainly showed how cunning the latter was. The final moments with Askeladd and Bjorn was fantastic too. Great stuff.

    Episode 22 was fantastic. Askeladd utterly destroyed Thorfinn in the duel. Got some more backstory to Askeladd which was great.

    Episode 23 was good. Thorfinn still wrecking people even when completely out of it. The plot is moving forward with the interactions with the King and everyone there. The mention of Vinland to Thorfinn from Leif was good too.

    And done with episode 24. Honestly, this episode was the best one in the entire season. I love how the King backed Askeladd into the corner. Askeladd was genuinely enraged in regards to the mention of his mother and the slavery, but in spite of that, chose the path he knew would kill him, but at the same time save both Canute and Wales. Then the final parting words to Thorfinn and Thorfinn losing it. It was so well put together. I'm glad that WIT animated it. Honestly in the current age, I doubt any other studio would've done better. Looking forward to season 2!

    Episode 2 is a nice hype for the next episode. I'm glad I waited untill anime finished so now I can blitz through it. Welp I guess that was obvious that Thors will die eventually, or will he? Also surprised the anime shown the Christianity abuse.

    Thorfinn surprised me since at the beginning of the episode he was "dying" first but ever since the Joms came he was the one bullying others.

    Ari is dying first isn't he...

    Episode 4.

    Everything what could go wrong, went wrong. I don't like this writing. Sure it makes sense for the story but like...Thors is strong, we get it. He killed many people before. Why is he refusing to kill them now? He got the upper hand against Askeladd but he refused to kill him. Why? I don't undestand. No way the enemy on ships would attack since Askeladd was their strongest fighter and the enemy was surprised and scared anyways. And people on ships got shields to defend from arrows (if they shot) I don't understand this crap.

    What did Thors think it would happen when he said they can have his head? There's no guaruantee that they would let the villagers live anyways. I mean it was obvious that Thors will die but the way he died felt so forced.

    Also Thors wanted him to duel with not killing intent in mind? I like Thors but who does that? You wanted to scare him? Where's the honor in that? What did he think would happen? That Askeladd would accept the defeat in front of his men and leave like a coward? At least he himself should know how that feels.

    So it's an "avenge" story. Didn't see that coming......So far the anime is well done but man some things are just...bruh.
