The town of Aynderil

"Do you eat them?" He asks, examining the vegetable closely again. "How do you prepare them to eat?"

 

Esca chimes in "You do eat them, its normally part of a dish. Why not have some home cooking when we are done with our errands let Shockwave try the eggplant."

 

"I just need a few more things then we can go." Dessa goes around the different food carts, getting the last of the things on her list. She rejoins Shockwave and Esca with her arms full of things.

 

"Do you need help carrying things?" He asks when he sees her arms full of vegetables and other various things. "I do not know how you can carry any more, burdened as you are."

 

"No rush Dessa the day has some sun left. Just plans for latter is all." Esca says as she puts the stone away in her bag after engraving a mark onto it.

 

"Yes, please Shockwave I could use some help with this stuff." She stops in front of them with her heavy load of goodies. "In that case Esca I do have one more place to go. I need a new saddle for my horse I left at home. I walked all the way here from my cottage, and that can be tiring after a while. Next time I come into town I'll have my horse with me." Dessa looks around for the shop that sells saddles.

 

"Not a problem," he replied, holding his arms open to be handed some of the heavier items to carry. "Hand me whatever you wish for me to carry, heavy or not, I have no preference."

He tilted his head at the mention of horse. "You have a method of transportation other than walking? Fascinating."

 

"Yep, though Horses don't really do it for me... Not big ones anyway" Esca says as they make their way to the shop Dessa is looking for.
"Some of the more wealthy cities have carriages pulled by horses as well. You will see that here as well but normally they are pulling in merchant goods rather than just giving some wealthy man a ride" Esca adds on.

 

Dessa unloads some of the heavier items into Shockwaves arms, while putting the rest into Esca's bag. "True, I can't keep walking three miles here and back home every day when I need something. That's why I need a new saddle for my horse, and maybe later in the next year I can get myself a small carriage." Dessa tells them as they walk into the Saddle Shop.

 

"Makes sense." He adjusts the objects into one hand, cradling it against his chest. "Do you have a particular saddle in mind that you have wanted or desired?"

 

"Not really, any kind will do at this point." She walks around the shop slowly, taking her time in looking at the different saddles. Dessa looks closer at a dark brown one, but doesn't like the style of it. So she moves on to a few others.

 

"Ah a carriage would be cool. You could deck it out and style it it be really neat" Esca says in regards to that.
"See any that interest you yet?" She asks Dessa while Esca herself is buying some goods such as fabrics.

 

"What is a carriage?" Shockwave calls out, waiting outside the door. "I will wait out here for you two, it seems a little cramped in there and I do not do well with tight spaces, bit claustrophobic if you know what I mean."

 

Esca makes an illusion of a black and gold carriage appears being pulled by two brown horse and the driver is a man in a black suit with an overly huge mustache. It appears just outside the shop "This is a carriage... well this is just an illusion not real but it is how one looks"

 

"People ride in these?" He asks in curious wonder. "It seems too good to be true. Are you sure that can handle the weight of several people? Seems to be flimsy."
