Synopsis​

With another Wave happening in a week, Naofumi Iwatani and his party have no time to waste. However, when bat familiars raid Lurolona Village and the Wave countdown comes to a halt, the Four Cardinal Heroes reconvene with the queen, Mirelia Q Melromarc, for a quick briefing. The queen presumes that the odd occurrences are linked to the Spirit Tortoise—a threatening creature that has awakened from its slumber, back to cause havoc once again. A plan to put the Spirit Tortoise to rest is devised—but out of the four men, only the cursed Shield Hero agrees to help.

Episode 1 was ok. So the heroes are still being a bunch of retards and won't work together. Rishia is desperate to prove herself to Itsuki. So desperate that in a retarded move and thought from Raphtalia, she became a slave to Naofumi. No we have some woman wanting Naofumi to kill her.

 

Episode 2 was ok. So the woman who wanted Naofumi to kill her meant to kill the spirit turtle. It's meant to use souls to seal off the waves. Someone woke it intentionally prematurely now it'll kill everyone. Ost played as "the evil concubine" for the deceased king of that land. Apparently she's seduced countless nobles lol. Whole bunch of bickering over who would give orders but now they're preparing to take it down. Eclair has also been training the demihumans and Raphtalia and Rishia.

 

Episode 3 was ok. The general of the spirit tortoise land sacrificed himself to explode the bombs which halted its movements. The the spirit tortoise switch to long range and took out a lot of soldiers. Seeing Naofumi continuing to charge, Eclair did the same. Kind of weird they were planning to have the combined mage attack go for a leg instead of the head itself.. but in the end they managed to decapitate it. Seeing as Ost is still around it's suspected to be alive.

 

Episode 4 was ok. Ost's "amnesia" shit getting pretty old. Conveniently remembers the right bits at the right time. So Rishia is infatuated with the bow hero due to him exposing a corrupt noble that had her taken due to false debts her parents owed. I was thinking why don't they just go inside the tortoise to destroy its heart, and that's what they're doing. The core group is doing that while the queen, Eclair and old lady help the army. Glass is back with L'Arc.

 

Episode 5 was ok. So the mastermind was a hero from the other world which is why L'Arc and the others were there to stop them. Even with the heart destroyed and the head severed the tortoise regenerated. They're now in the deepest part of it for the final show down. Ost is also like the human incarnation of it.

 

Episode 6 was pretty good. Man though, Kyo waffled on way too much. He captured 3 of the cardinal heroes and somehow just does nothing but gloat when he had Naofumi pinned. Rishia did a decent job combatting him. The combined mage spell countered the tortoise's blast, and the Filolial Queen took off the head and L'Arc and his group destroyed the heart. Kyo had a backup. Naofumi's rage shield failed because he doesn't have hate now but Ost was able to force a spirit tortoise shield for him. Big ass laser blast lol. She and the tortoise are dead now, but I suspect she'll revive. No Naofumi and Co are on to the other world.

 

Episode 7 was good, but had stupid choices. Hate how they reset to level 1 and Raphtalia went to being a kid again for no reason other than forcing a struggle. No one else was reset when they travelled worlds. Kizuna is a cute addition and the hunting hero. Poor thing was stuck alone for years in that place but is now free. Wonder where Filo is?

 

Episode 8 was pretty comfy for the first bits. They got to the town with the teleporter. Made some money selling items. Figured out items between worlds give different effects to the other people. Then had some fun in the snow. Too bad they fell for Kyo's trap and somehow Raphtalia was left behind. Oh no.

 

Episode 9 was alright. Poor Filo was put on as some show piece and roughed up a bit by those people. Good thing Naofumi and the others got there fast. Raphtalia seems like she might be in danger. Those people saying Naofumi is going to destroy the world is like a repeat of S1 and looks like he's getting the rage shield again sigh.

 

Episode 10 was good but had some weird stuff. Raphtalia was captured with L'Arc, Glass and Therese and Glass was elated to hear about Kizuna. They were able to break out and travelled together to reunite Raphtalia. She levelled up and was getting bigger. When they were introducing the new vassal weapon holder the sword hero, I thought it would go to Raphtalia and it did. Kazuki was salty, apparently wanting to use it to betray Kyo. The everyone went full retard hunting Raphtalia even though the entire point was for anyway to try and become the hero. Finally, Raphtalia got back to normal size and reunited with Naofumi and the others.

 

Episode 11 was pretty good. So L'Arc is a king, nice. Thanks to Kizuna, they've all teamed up and they've got upgrades sorted. Poor Yomogi was Kyo's childhood friend and originally he seemed to want to stop the waves, unless that was a lie and he was always warped. Now she's seen the truth and wants to bring him down. Wave is up now.

 

Episode 12 was alright. So Kyo put a homunculus in the body of Kazuki and turned his followers into chimeras. They soundly lost. Kyo spent a lot of time yapping and Naofumi almost lost it to the wrath shield. Luckily Ost came out of nowhere and snapped him out of it and Kyo was defeated. The other heroes defeated the wave and they returned back. The other 3 heroes in the original land fended off a wave there and Naofumi was awarded for defeating the spirit tortoise.

 

Episode 13 was ok. Just them remembering moments some of which were new. Then they delivered flowers in remembrance to Ost. Surprised she didn't get revived or reincarnated, yet anyway.
