Synopsis

For as long as he can remember, Minoru Kagenou has been fixated on becoming as strong as possible, which has led him to undertake all kinds of rigorous training. This wish, however, does not stem from a desire to be recognized by others; rather, Minoru does everything he can to blend in with the crowd. So, while pretending to be a completely average student during the day, he arms himself with a crowbar and ruthlessly thrashes local biker gangs at night. Yet when Minoru finds himself in a truck accident, his ambitions seemingly come to a sudden end. In his final moments, he laments his powerlessness—no matter how much he trained, there was nothing he could do to overcome his human limitations.

But instead of dying, Minoru reawakens as Cid, the second child of the noble Kagenou family, in another world—one where magic is commonplace. With the power he so desired finally within his grasp, he dons the moniker "Shadow" and establishes Shadow Garden: a group whose sole purpose is to combat the enigmatic Cult of Diablos, an organization born from Cid's imagination. However, as Shadow Garden grows in both membership and influence, it becomes increasingly apparent that the Cult of Diablos is not as fictional as Cid had intended.

Episode 1 was good. So Kagenou was trying to be extremely strong for his dream, wanting to be a hero more or less. He often fought motorcycle gangs and even helped out Nishino. She disliked him because he was plain and distant. He really didn't have much reason to help her but still did. Seems in hte past Nishino was kidnapped too and was sexually assaulted. He ended up being killed by truck-kun and thus reborn into a world with powers.

 

Episode 2 was good. So Cid is playing the weaker younger brother for some vague reason. Guess we'll find out. His sister Claire is a beast and does seem to care about him. He's got the shadows to help him with his goals, although seems they were bailing on him at the end of the ep?

 

Episode 3 was good. So Cid got himself a girlfriend accidentally. Although she was also using him to stave off someone she didn't want to marry. They had some interesting interactions. They also think Cid had something to do with her disappearance lol.

 

Episode 4 was good. Damn, Cid just let himself be interrogated and tortured for days to keep character. That's dedication. In the end he ended up cutting down those people. Turns out the sword teacher and Alexia's betrothed was behind it all. Didn't expect that. Cid is about to **** him up.

 

Episode 5 was good. Damn, Cid just complete dismantled the guy even after his power up. So he's like an atomic bomb? Brutal. Because of him, Alexia got to appreciate her fencing, nice. Also, the end where she wanted to continue dating him, but he turned her out and it turned into attempted murder.

 

Episode 6 was good. Cid though that it was Alexia going around killing people imitating his group lol. I feel like Sherry's father might be setting her up to do unfavorable things, but hopefully not. Looks like Cid has caused a misunderstanding giving her chocolate. Also, Gamma is pretty big brain making the massive business and getting heaps of money.

 

Episode 7 was good. Lol at Cid purposely getting destroyed in the match for school. Also, Sherry speaking to Alexia about dating Cid. Now it appears Cid has been taken out at the end, wonder how it'll turn out.

 

Episode 8 was good. So Cid died, then restarted his own heart. He's just been taking all the enemies out. He followed Sherry around as she clumsily made her way to where she needed to go with him helping her out. The school is in danger of being blown sky high.

 

Episode 9 was good. So her father was behind the death of her mother, pretty fucked up. Cid didn't want Sherry knowing that. I feel like Sherry is going to try and get revenge.

 

Episode 10 was alright. Iris and Alexia went shopping for underwear in Gamma's shop. Epsilon covers herself in slime to give herself a busty body and somehow brags about it lol. Beta has plagarised stories that Cid told her in the past.

 

Episode 11 was good. Lol at the starting out hotspring scene. So now there is a battle event where people test their abilities. Cid went in as Shadow and of course had summoned the strongest opponent. He handily beat her.

 

Episode 12 was good. So Cid managed to get to the realm where Aurora is and is helping her break out. Thought she was dead though. The others are uncovering the church's misdeeds. So the 12 knights of the round are all "immortal" with the things they created from Diablo.

 

Episode 13 was good. Damn, Delta is a beast, literally. Was able to defeat Jack with little effort. With Olivier he confronted Cid and Aurora. It seemed like Cid was defeated but seems like he has his magic back now.

 

Episode 14 was good. Cid was able to make is magic too stiff to be absorbed and then used his atomic power to win. Turns out Aurora was also Diablo? Interesting. Beta is in with the princesses now too, undercover as the writer. Also, was neat to hear that Gamma is buying up a lot of houses and planning to make a grand city. Looks like Rose is having something occur.
