Synopsis​

Thirty-seven-year-old Satoru Mikami is a typical corporate worker, who is perfectly content with his monotonous lifestyle in Tokyo, other than failing to nail down a girlfriend even once throughout his life. In the midst of a casual encounter with his colleague, he falls victim to a random assailant on the streets and is stabbed. However, while succumbing to his injuries, a peculiar voice echoes in his mind, and recites a bunch of commands which the dying man cannot make sense of.

When Satoru regains consciousness, he discovers that he has reincarnated as a goop of slime in an unfamiliar realm. In doing so, he acquires newfound skills—notably, the power to devour anything and mimic its appearance and abilities. He then stumbles upon the sealed Catastrophe-level monster "Storm Dragon" Veldora who had been sealed away for the past 300 years for devastating a town to ashes. Sympathetic to his predicament, Satoru befriends him, promising to assist in destroying the seal. In return, Veldora bestows upon him the name Rimuru Tempest to grant him divine protection.

Now, liberated from the mundanities of his past life, Rimuru embarks on a fresh journey with a distinct goal in mind. As he grows accustomed to his new physique, his gooey antics ripple throughout the world, gradually altering his fate.

Episode 1 was good. For once it wasn't truck-kun that killed someone. Lol at him dying and then being like "btw please fry my hard drive." Interesting he seems to have a lot of skills as a slime and befriended the dragon. Interesting start.

 

Episode 2 was great. Rimuru to eat Veldora lol. Hopefully it works out though. He just literally chewed through the entire cave and made it out. So now he's got goblin followers, neat.

 

Episode 3 was great. Damn, Rimuru took out the leader wolf with no issues, brutal. So naming the monsters evolves them, neat. Now the wolves and goblins are living together and next ep we'll see dwarfs.

 

Episode 4 was great. Rimuru in with the clutch twice in a row this ep! First with the potion, then after with the swords. Lol at the dwarfbros taking him out for drinks with the cute elves.

 

Episode 5 was great. Vesta sure was a douche. But luckily they escaped forced labored and it worked out with them being exiled. Seems like Gazeru is very cautious of Rimuru, might be some trouble.

 

Episode 6 was good. Shizue and the other party members have arrived. So Shizue was from Japan in the past too and was summoned. I feel like she hasn't been treated well, hopefully Rimuru helps her out.

 

Episode 7 was great. So Shizue was summoned by a demon lord? and then put/merged ifrit into her. Seemingly it controlled her too so she murdered the little pet monster and her friend, awful. Looks like Veldora is happy to stomp him lol.

 

Episode 8 was good. Sad, didn't expect Shizue to pass, but that got Rimuru a body. So the demon lord abandoned her to defend his castle from the hero who took her in and then she helped people since. Looks like someone else is naming monsters but to cause issues.

 

Episode 9 was great. Looks like Rimuru got some new powers, cool. He can also now make his form resemble a male or female and age them too, neat. Was a nice light show with the Ogres, but was just a misunderstanding. I assume the attack was from the person last ep. I assume Rimuru will get the ogres names too.

 

Episode 10 was good. So now Rimuru has names all of the Ogres and they've evolved, nice. So 200,000 army of Orcs and an Orc Lord, sounds like it'll be trouble.

 

Episode 11 was good. Those lizardmen are a bunch of clowns lmao. Gobuta sure clowned on the leader's son. The cooking being poison is such a bad cliche, but at least it was used for some comedy, like Gobuta getting super saiyan aura. So now a Dryad has requested Rimuru's aid to defeat the Orc lord, seems like a big battle incoming.

 

Episode 12 was great. So they've agreed to take down the Orc lord, as expected. Gabiru is going to get so many people killed, for idiotically forcefully taking over the lizard people due to the young ones believing in him. Wonder if backup will arrive in time..

 

Episode 13 was fantastic. Gabiru did well for him, but luckily help arrived in time. Damn, Shion, Banimaru, Hakurou, Souei and Ranga are making quick work of all of them. The Lizardmen are saved. Looks like Rimuru is going to deal with the Orc lord next. Also, Gelmud is working under someone else, damn.

 

Episode 14 was great. The outcome was expected, but not the execution. So Gelmud was devoured by the Orc lord who then evolved into the Orc Demon Lord. The reason for this was being tricked by Gelmud when he was trying to get food for his starving people. In the end, the devourer was devoured and Rimuru took the sins of his people.
