Multiplatform Tales of Berseria

So basically just a gameplay demo? Well at least you'll get implemented and use to the combat system.

 

Sounds like free roam, which is a decent portion of the game, y'know exploring dungeons and shit lol.

Fair enough, but trust me you won't regret if you do, because like I said the story and characters are what truly make this game worth it, even if the gameplay doesn't click with you. Plus I know you like villainous types for protagonists and Velvet certainly fits the bill, in fact most of the main cast are like that as well.

 

Well for me the game was really hard to put down, because the story just draws ya in, so that shouldn't be the case once you get going. Yeah I would say that most of our protagonists are definitely in the gray area when it comes to morals. They're more willing to do dirty things to reach there goals. Though they balance it out with having a few morally good characters in the group as well.

 

I feel ya, before I got my ps4, my gaming life pretty much was dead besides mobile games, but playing Berseria pretty much revitalized it tbh.
They are, the characters are so great. They're all complex characters with unique traits and personalities. Also the bonds and chemistry that develops between them during their journey is quite something.

 

Eh not necessarily, Mass Effect Andromeda was probably going to revive it, but that doesn't come out till later this month lol.
Yep, it feels like you're playing a really good anime(Berseria might actually get an anime too tbh).

 

I feel it will, because ufotable made a tales of Zesteria anime last year(still airing) and in that they've made many references back to Berseria; Velvet(the main protagonist of Berseria) is shown in both openings, they even had two episodes that were part of the Berseria storyline in the first season, and they've mentioned Velvet and her story twice now in the second season. So it definitely feels like it will happen, especially considering that the game itself is critically acclaimed and highly praised as the best tales game yet.
