wait till some sanghi chaddis want hindi to be compulsory.

One thibg i have seen about North Indian chaddis is that they want everyone to leard hindi but can't learn local languages even after living in that place for years

 

Had a UP and another Bihari classmate in degree, both of whom wanted us Bangaloreans to learn Hindi, but they refused to learn Kannada even after staying here for long and getting jobs here. The former was a supreme holier-than-thou asshole who once got the shit kicked out of him after talking smack about another classmate's cousin sister (who was also a classmate of ours).

By contrast, this one Bengali classmate learnt basic Kannada communication skills in three years, and he was not a holier-than-thou misogynist piece of shit.

I also have a Rajasthani client who has been living in Bangalore since the mid-to-late-1990s and still hasn't learn Kannada. But he's a nice dude who treats everyone well and is not a Hindi-supremacist, so he gets a pass.

Punjabis and Bengalis seem to be the exception. I have seen them very quickly the learn local languages wherever they settle.

Gotta love how Dhongi is literally UP's Mamata but they hate on Mamata.
