I have mixed feelings but not because of the struggle here. I think it makes sense. I'm just kind of tired of them struggling every arc since forever. Lol. I wish we had an arc where they actually felt as strong as they've gotten, but it kind of just feels like they're back to square one every time. Makes sense here because Imu, it would be dumb if they didn't struggle. But, at the same time, how are they not just dead. Isn't it just a little stupid if they get completely overwhelmed by who is basically their arch nemesis who specifically wants to kill luffy and then just nothing happens basically? like, obviously it's not realistic they die, but isn't it just a bit of a stupid writing scenario? Same as when the Gorosei all assembled on egg head and somehow they felt less of a threat than Saturn alone. Anyway, it's a timer event anyway so Imu will **** off after a few chapters.

 

Who would they even kill? Road? Jural? Would there even be any difference?

 

That's what I'm talking about. Imu specifically wanted Luffy dead. How does he not just decapitate him? It's just nonsense. If he took out Zoro and Sanji, how were they not just straight up killed? You just have to throw your brain out the window.

I mean it's probably better than nothing, but I really couldn't give a shit about a random giant dying lmao. I mean, no way any SH is getting maimed permanently.

 

Same as Egg Head. The Gorosei went there plus an Admiral and virtually nothing happened. Vegapunk is "dead" in one body but still alive and they took the body. Other satellites could just be rebuilt. York lives. The only notable thing from the whole arc is Imu killing his own man Saturn thus weakening their own ranks lmao. It's the same type of writing.

 

Imu is already on a timer anyway. He's probably dying or some shit. He'll probably be forcefully warped back to the holy land. Something will happen, but it'll probably be nothing I care about.
