Yeah, but it's still a part of the 3rd party support and easy to show the casual crowed like that. Plus, it has the whole portable thing.

  3. As long as I can play Zelda I don't care how the thing looks like. I'm dissapointed with some of the issues people are having with the Switch though. I hope it's not too much to ask of Nintendo to fix these issues for the upcoming holiday season.

The main issue seems to be the Joycon connection and this is pretty consistent with everyone.

    >inb4 it seems like I'm defending things and a fanboy
There are always faulty products in batches and this goes double for launch things. I also thing that the amount of faulty units seems to be made out to be more than it actually is. The scratches from the dock only seem to happen for certain people which would mean it's more-so user error, but still, that shit should be padded. But, still, who doesn't put a screen protector on their 300 USD tablet? lol. The joycon issues definitely seem like the real valid issue because it's mainly consistent to like everyone and it seems to stem from a design flaw - the bluetooth antenna is next to a metal box. LMAO. All in all: Never buy a console at launch. Let the beta testers test it. :>

Software will always have issues, its just part of the business but for this thing to have so many design flaws is mind blowing. The dock is literally just a plastic box, I put my trash in a nicer trashcan. Not to mention Nintendo said dead pixels are normal.

Yup. You're not wrong seeing as it can't charge and play table-top at the same time because of the USB placement. I thought it needed to plug into the dock hence the placement or am I wrong with that? LMAO, true. That's actually what it said in the PSP manual too. You cannot return any LCD screened item with that as the sole issue, under a certain dead-pixel count IIRC. I've got it in my head it was like 7 dead pixels or something.

What the console need is games. Right now it's not a smart decision unless you're the biggest zelda fanboy out there.

Pretty much this. Doesn't the switch have the 32GB total? They better release another one with at least 64GB.. games are taking too much space nowadays. They better learn from Sony and Microsoft.

You don't have to install any games if they're on the cartridge. It has Micro SD support up to 2tb. I think with more storage, we would've seen a higher price. Still, I think there will be bigger storage units down the line.

So it was needed, but that also fucked it for table-top mode and an annoyance for portable.

    >literally who doesn't get a screen protector first thing for their 300 USD device
Honestly, despite it scratching easily, I think they went with plastic because:
    1) Keep costs down
    2) Doesn't shatter if dropped
    That's probably about it.
