I think that, in the prizes text, you can probably use "modsub" and "sub" to differentiate between when a host is forced to sub a player out, and when a player requests to be subbed out.

Something like this?

• ModSub- If a player gets mod-killed or substituted for abysmal activity levels or rule breaking, then he/she should not be categorized at all. The player would as such get no prizes. The player will also get a strike.
• Sub- However if a mod-killed or substituted player publicly states in the game thread that he/she cannot play anymore and mentions the host of the game, then he/she can be categorized and will get prizes depending on the category they get.

 

In this portion, you could probably word it like this:

Promoting use of "modsub" to differentiate between when a host has to force sub a player, and when a player requests sub. I also changed text to allow requests via PM, because I personally prefer if sub requests are handled privately, and I changed "modkill" to "removed from play" because modkill generally connotes a response to wrongdoing.

Outside Game Communication, or what I usually see referred to as Open Communication, is a setting wherein all players may discuss the game freely outside of the game thread. In particular, this allows Town to pass information to one another without that information being publicly available in the game thread. It also, however, allows Mafia to potentially gain information without the Town realizing it.

 

I'll be needing two substitutions but I'll deal with that this afternoon.

Pretty much mafia was lynched. Cow put the role he sent to that person in the lynch scene to show their role. But he didn't notice that in the role pm he showed it had the names of the other assassins in it.

So the game ended there because all scum was shown by the mod and too many people saw it to sub out. So game stopped.

Then we discussed how to go about it. Cow said he will just do a diffferent setup quick and use the same people to play that game before yours.

So he is just redoing the game pretty much and then you are next like calendar states is all

So when globear was lynched, cow showed globear role pm. So we knew what role was lynched. But st the bottom of the role he sent globear and posted in the thread, had the rest of the mafia names on it. So anyone who looked st the writeup saw who the rest of scum was. So no point to continue

I am planning a 21 player game on MS. I am working on it with a very very logical person. It has group mechanics and is titled: Surreptitious II: Secrets and Misdirection.

Not going to spills the beans too much just yet because its still a work in progress, but its the big brother of Surreptitious: The Game of Spies which I hosted on MS a while back. You can read that game here. The setup should be in the OP of that game.
