Which do you prefer over the other? In my honest opinion, i prefer Light Novels over Manga, it's just better in my opinion. Light novels have more detailed scenarios, better dialogues, etc. It's just all the better, imo.
Light Novels are a bit more flexible with how much they can fit into a chapter or volume, so they obviously have more room for extensive detail. Though, I can't pick between either. I do like having visuals to give me an idea of what the characters and setting are like from a visual standpoint, Light Novels have more detail and I understand the story better because of them.
I find Light Novels to be better overall. Manga shows the story/world visually and has a much higher frequency of content, but Light Novels tell a story, flesh out the world, and give characterization better.
