Who here plays an instrument and how long have you been playing? And if you don't, what instrument would you like to learn? I play the piano, cello, guitar, and the flute, though I invest more of my time on playing the piano (been playing for about 8-ish years).
Been playing the Piano for about 9 years, though the last 3 or so I never really play it for practice, but instead only play during gigs etc I've wanted to learn the guitar this past few years, though my interest in electronic music took over and I've learnt some basics in music production around 2 years ago, but stopped currently due to final year studies. Plan on composing music from March 2017, when my high school 'officially' ends.
Not any more. :bdpf: I did play the guitar for a little, but I was just learning off an old neighbour. I played trumpet for a few years from when I was like 10, lmao.
Im a drummer, been one for dussins of years, but i haven't started taking it serious until about 3 years ago when i started playing in a band.
I've been playing the piano for 8 years and I'm terrible at reading music. I have a good ear though so I dont spend much time practicing but I'd love to learn the violin
Piano, guitar (electric preferred) and moderate percussion there's a few others but not skilled enough to mention. Add: Piano and Percussion for 6 years, guitar for 7.
Just saw your post and couldn’t help thinking about my own journey with instruments. I’ve been noodling around with the guitar for about 10 years now. Nothing fancy—just enough to jam with friends or play a bit by the campfire.
I tried piano when I was younger but didn’t stick with it long enough to really get good. Lately, I’ve been thinking about picking up something totally different, like the violin. It’s always been one of those instruments that feels so expressive. I’ve even been looking into online music lessons to ease into it since I don’t have the time for in-person classes right now.
