Synopsis​

When Demon Queen Echidna begins her invasion of the human realm, the people turn to the hero Leo Demonheart to protect them. Blessed with insurmountable power, Leo easily repels Echidna's army, thereby saving the world. But instead of gratitude or admiration, Leo is met with disdain and scorn from his fellow humans, who fear his overwhelming strength and believe that it may eventually cause humanity's demise.

Banished from the kingdom he once called home, Leo wanders aimlessly throughout the land until, one day, he hears rumors of Echidna's efforts to rebuild her army. Hoping that demonkind might accept him as an ally, he returns to the demon queen's castle and offers Echidna his help.

Naturally, Echidna immediately rejects him. Still, not all hope is lost, as Leo manages to convince Echidna's four generals to let him secretly work under their supervision. Donning the identity of a masked dark knight named Onyx, Leo solves the demon army's problems one by one—gradually improving the quality of life around the castle. Above all else, however, Leo wants to accomplish one goal: to learn why Echidna started the war in the first place.

Episode 1 was such a good kek. So the Hero's party was pretty useless for him so he went alone and defeated the Devil King's army alone. Instead of being thankful everyone treated him like shit and he was banished. Now he sought out the army to join them. Loved the interactions between the four generals and him just gold. This one seems pretty fun.

 

Episode 2 was great. LMAO how Leo woke Shutina up but mimicing Echidna's voice. Then he played it smart delegating the poor woman's task out to other and preparing her to delegate more out to reduce her workload as she was doing everything. Lol at Lili's plan for her mission.

 

Episode 3 was great. Lilly is such a nice girl, very energetic. Lol at how she just plowed through all of Leo's challenges to incentivise her to get help. In the end she learned the lesson. Looks like Leo is summoned by Echidna now.

 

Episode 4 was great. So Echidna called Leo to throw him a banquet They got on well. Interesting to know her goal is to just fix her home. Right as Leo was about to drop the bomb it was revealed the other two generals bailed due to their feelings.

 

Episode 5 was good. So Melnis went off because of fearing having to do interviews lol. Luckily Leo has been able to provide some teaching. Looks like Leo has to answer why he wants to join but it seems it's not what he says about destroying humanity?

 

Episode 6 was good. I didn't expect Leo to be over 1000 years old. So originally the world was modern then it was invaded by demons. He and others were modified into heroes to combat the demons. In the end he's the only remaining one and he saved humanity multiple times. Now we're here.

 

Episode 7 was great. Jerietta was right to go to Leo regarding her concerns with her father. Leo hatched out a good plan to teach her father the other general Edwald some lesson's regarding his harshness of his own men. Projecting they're all meant to be as strong as he is lol. They got through to him easily enough and that issue was resolved. Lol at Echidna going overboard destroying the other robot golems.

 

Episode 8 was great. So the demon king of the time opened a portal. The demon's were told they were going to an uninhabited island and could live. This was a lie and the portal was closed off. Rough. That's what kicked off the war. Eibrad just wanted peace between them and certainly imparted the best he could to Leo which has now come into effect with him abandoning his cause. Hard to believe Leo was the weakest of the defense being created.

 

Episode 9 was great. Lol at Echidna's tantrum over Leo being there the whole time. I didn't see the twist coming. Leo now declaring he's going to destroy humanity himself and his core is the other philosophers stone. What will Echidna and the other generals do?

 

Episode 10 was interesting, didn't expect that turn. So he's basically sick and scared what he could do due to his directive, so he wants to force them all to kill him. See how it ends next episode.

 

Man, Episode 11 was so sad. Poor guy was on his own for thousands of years only able to obey his directive to protect humanity. Got to the point he almost attacked them for himself by recreating the others again. Echidna realized that he actually just wanted someone to save him the whole time, but also now wanted to die a Hero's death. I don't think they killed him though, because he really just wanted someone to accept him.

 

Episode 12 was good. They got through to Leo and he didn't end up wanting to die, nice. Poor Lily was really upset. Leo managed to override his commands though. Looks like they're all as busy as ever now.

 

Episode 13 was good, complete change of pace and direction. Just a vacation episode and Leo got pranked lol.
