Synopsis​

The Mizuhanome System is a highly advanced development that allows people to enter one of the most intriguing places in existence—the human mind. Through the use of so-called "cognition particles" left behind at a crime scene by the perpetrator, detectives from the specialized police squad Kura can manifest a criminal's unconscious mind as a bizarre stream of thoughts in a virtual world. Their task is to explore this psychological plane, called an "id well," to reveal the identity of the culprit.

Not just anyone can enter the id wells; the prerequisite is that you must have killed someone yourself. Such is the case for former detective Akihito Narihisago, who is known as "Sakaido" inside the id wells. Once a respected member of the police, tragedy struck, and he soon found himself on the other side of the law.

Nevertheless, Narihisago continues to assist Kura in confinement. While his prodigious detective skills still prove useful toward investigations, Narihisago discovers that not everything is as it seems, as behind the seemingly standalone series of murder cases lurks a much more sinister truth.

Episode 1 was interesting. So they can track the killer intent and use that to enter another plane to try and solve the case. Is that trainee dead or no?

 

Episode 2 was good. Oh no, did the girl end up dying? Feel she did, but hope not. In the end they caught the killer. So someone is going around creating serial killers?

 

Episode 3 was good. Pretty brutal how his wife and kid died.

 

Episode 4 was good. Man, wish they got to the girl on time, sucks it was pre-recorded. I wonder is that guy the real grave digger?

 

Episode 5 was good. Interesting tat chick was the mastermind. So due to the hole in his head, his killing intent was p projected as love hence he kissed the police girl. Lol

 

Episode 6 was good. Didn't expect the girl to kill the guy, now she's been transferred as a great detective. Suspected of being fucked now and having intent to kill.

 

Episode 7 was good. The detective being the mastermind behind it all seems too convenient. Feel like he was scapegoated.

 

Episode 8 was good. So whole id well was a desert. Seems like this is a trap somehow, though.

 

Episode 9 was good although a bit confusing. The world his in almost seems more than just a dream now seeing as he is ongoingly in there. He killed the challenger and also face lifter. Feel so bad for the girl who just has dreams of people killing her. Fucked up.

 

Episode 10 was good. So it all was part of an id well. 2 years passed in there and only 10 minutes on the other side. The body was Narihisago's.

 

Episode 11 was good. I did suspect the old guy a bit early on as he seemed fishy, but when he wasn't in for most of it I had my doubts. Wonder how the last 2 episodes will go.

 

Episode 12 was good. So now the chase begins. Didn't expect the dude to off himself before entering the ID Well. They seem to imply some people may come back?

 

Episode 13 was good but bad. Good they resolved the case, but imo the shitbag and killers got out super easy. Meanwhile the poor girl suffers all alone and no one will even put her out of her misery. Just "has to wait" for someone who can help her.
