I have mostly read dystopian science fiction novels but would like to try other science fiction books.

 

@Princess Kaguya Try Eon by Greg Bear, The Billion Dollar Boy by Charles Sheffield, Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard, Dune by Frank Herbert or The Martian by Andy Weir for starters. Let me know if you want some more suggestions.

( This is my late welcoming response, my apologies. ( ^,.,^ ; ) )
I hope you've been enjoying this place so far. Though noticing your post count on here you're quite active, so seems to me you are enjoying it on here, far as I can tell. My step father custom built his computer as well, though maybe not that good as some however he's very smart I think with PCs and knowledge so maybe I'm mistaken and its built well, heh. Anyway You saying you got published and working on or going try and work on writing more books gives me inspiration as well courage to do that myself. One of my dreams growing up was becoming a writer, though however if it doesn't work out I always have blogging as something I can do possibly.
