Synopsis

Fear, survival, instinct. Thrown into a foreign land with nothing but hazy memories and the knowledge of their name, they can feel only these three emotions resonating deep within their souls. A group of strangers is given no other choice than to accept the only paying job in this game-like world—the role of a soldier in the Reserve Army—and eliminate anything that threatens the peace in their new world, Grimgar.

When all of the stronger candidates join together, those left behind must create a party together to survive: Manato, a charismatic leader and priest; Haruhiro, a nervous thief; Yume, a cheerful hunter; Shihoru, a shy mage; Moguzo, a kind warrior; and Ranta, a rowdy dark knight. Despite its resemblance to one, this is no game—there are no redos or respawns; it is kill or be killed.

It is now up to this ragtag group of unlikely fighters to survive together in a world where life and death are separated only by a fine line.

Episode 1 was good. So people get thrown into Grimgar and have to struggle to survive. Seems like they came from modern times as offhandedly they mention a "mobile phone" but don't have any idea what it is due to lack of memories. Right now, the can't even kill goblins.

 

Episode 2 was good. Damn, that goblin really didn't want to die. It put up a real fight. It's kind of unbelievable it took the entire team to take out 1 single goblin. Seems like Shihiro and Manato might have a thing for each other. Ranta is a character.

 

Episode 3 was good. So they have it so rough they go commando at night to was their underwear for the next day. They're slowly getting into things considering it's been little over 20 days.

 

Episode 4 was good. Didn't expect that death at all. RIP. I suppose Haruhiro will step up to the leadership role?

 

Episode 5 was good. The party became really dysfunctional with Manato's death. They got a replacement Priest in Mary pretty fast, and she doesn't work well with them. Looks like Haruhiro and Yume reconciled. Lol at Shihoru misunderstanding them.

 

Episode 6 was good. The group is finally getting back on track. So Mary is the way she is because the first group she was apart of got super overconfident as she'd always do so much for them. Then instead of retreating they took on something they had no chance with. Mary had already used all of her magic so couldn't heal anyone and 3 died.

 

Episode 7 was good. They're all working well together now and have made strides in having Mary join into the group more. They're dubbed the Goblin Slayers.

 

Episode 8 was good. The group managed with great difficulty to take out the goblins including ones responsible for Manato's death. Mary almost got killed too in the same manner.

 

Episode 9 was good. So they really stirred up the Goblins. Now they're planning on going into the mine, where things went wrong for Mary.

 

Episode 10 was good. They're going pretty well clearing out the Kobolts. Looks like they've not run into Deathspots, so rip.

 

Episode 11 was good. Mary was finally able to put her old party members to rest. Now Ranta is alone with Deathspots. Hopefully he can manage.

 

Episode 12 was good. So No real explanation how Ranta got out of where he was, but he ended up fine and getting away. Haruhiro was the one to take out Deathspots and that's about it. Weird conclusion but enjoyed in all.
