Using lions as an example is a bad idea. Lionesses weigh on average 140 kg (while a large one can be 160 kg). Male lions weight 1.5 times that. Even lionesses can run at speed approaching 60 km/hr and a lone lioness can easily kill a herbivore weighing 2.5 times as much as herself.

Even the most physically fit human would be hard-pressed to fend off an average-sized 60 to 70 kg male leopard. Your average lioness weighs twice that.

You clearly don't know how agonizing a pit viper bite or stingray sting can be.

Certain species only. And they're small - ranging from house cat to Labrador Retriever size at most.
