My friend wanted to get me to do some kind of roleplaying traditional wedding game, like idk some kind of pre-celebration at grooms house.
So he's describing the thing, passionately, like "this is going to be like that, he's gonna play him, he's gonna get this", and I'm ******* sitting there, eyes wide open not understanding a single thing he's saying. He MUST have noticed, because he stopped and went "wait, you don't know what ABC (the name of the game) is"?
..
"Really sorry mate, I have no idea what are you talking about, I don't go to weddings, I didn't get a single thing"
"... Okay no problem, forget it, it's fine anyway"

I was sorry but nope, I have no idea about this stuff. In polish we say something like "you won't jump over your own ass", roughly, the meaning is pretty obvious. The longest wedding related thing Ive probably ever willingly participated in was a video tape of my parent's wedding. And it was when I was 8 or 10.


Well at least figured out something like a plan to get through this wedding..

I'll go to church for the ceremony, ride to the place the party is in and bail out 10min after food.
No accusations will be valid
"You didn't come"
Oh yes, yes I did.
"Well did you have fun?"
The food was good
...
