finally a date that's the same for americans and the rest of the world

 

That whole month day year is confusing

 

there's a lot of things i like about merica (mainly their entertainment industry) but what bugs me the most is the imperial system, it makes no sense. everytime i hear feet for measurment in movies/tv shows i just sigh

 

Musings some of the measurements are ok but most of it goes right over my head

 

What you guys fav game?

 

Their date system is a gigantic pain in the ass. I've suffered a lot because of it.

 

Musings does it take your brain longer to work out the day? My brain gets confused whenever i have to sign for fancy medicine or for medical trials that are in that format

 

It's a gigantic pain in the ass when I'm going through a client's accounts and uploading data for e-filing (to government tax portals). We of course use the logical dd/mm/yyyy format. But sometimes, a jackass client sends me data with the dates in that uncivilized American format and I have to waste time and energy correcting that shit. Sure it seems like a simple enough process but not so when you're dealing with thousands of invoices across a dozen documents.

 

You cant make them correct it?

 

Most of them have. But there are these two parties who regularly...
