You guys might be pleased to know that my left knee has no fracture. The pain has come down by more than half. There is a bit of swelling and purple colouration from a nasty blood clot. But I am fine and getting better. No longer using a walking cane. Though there is a bit of pain and difficulty in bending the knee.

You didn't know cheetah's can meow? By the way, pumas can meow as well.

One the one hand: Extremely powerful urge to get out of vehicle and pet them.

On the other hand: 140 to 150 kg mama that can run at 60 km/hr and kill animals three times he own weight.

 

The farmer who found the little guy by the side of a mountain road thought it was a domestic cat and then took him in. After it killed all of his chickens, he realized it was wild and contacted the nearest sanctuary. They initially thought it was a margay, but then had doubts based on his facial structure and contacted a Feline conservationist, and she had a genetic test done.

^ Domesticated cat breeds with leopard-like prints. I have played with Bengal cats myself. They are both very loyal and very rambunctious at the same time.

Fun Fact:
Leopard-like camouflage prints have evolved in dozens of cat species independently of each other, via convergent evolution. The pattern is just that effective for camouflage, it seems. There may have even been maniraptoran dinosaurs with leopard-like feather patterns as early as 150 million years ago. We already know of three theropod dinosaurs with tiger-like striped feather patterns from Cretaceous China. So it is entirely possible.

One more thing:
Several cats which evolved the so-called leopard-print pattern in the Leopardus genus are not closely related to the leopard at all. They belong to the Felinae sub-family (while the leopard is in the Pantherinae sub-family). Their last common ancestor lived between 16 and 18 million years ago. Once again I must stress that this pattern keeps popping up because it is just that effective.

Was about the size of the average house cat. And, yes, we know of the feather pattern and colours as well.
