You are sort of correct. The current regime just took everything wrong with Indian society and amplified it fifty fold.

First of all, I must say: The whole Chinese snooping thing is overblown, and a meme at this point. You honestly should worry more about the US, UK, France, Australia, and Is Not Real snooping on you. I'd rather the Chinese snoop on me, than those ass-clowns. Your data is probably safer with the Chinese government, as ridiculous as that statement sounds.

Motorola (owned by Lenovo) are probably the best value for money, but suffer from low repairability scores.

Oppo and OnePlus are decent value as well: good build quality, signal reception, battery life and longevity. However, they make some compromises here and there. They have compromised on cameras in the past couple of years. And privacy is a concern, since they work very closely with Google. Their Indian phones also support very few frequency bands, making them a No-Go for international travellers.

Vivo has excellent hardware, but their software/UI sucks ass. They also have notoriously bad customer service. Their phones have good repairability, but getting them repaired is a pain-in-the-nuts. Also, like Oppo and OnePlus, their Indian models support very few frequency bands.

Xiaomi has excellent performance, value, signal reception, cameras, they have mostly solved the heating issues in their phones, they now offer four years of software support, repairability is excellent. However, their UI is a sensory overload nightmare, riddled with adware, they still suck on battery life (though their batteries will last four years or more), and all but their flagships still support very few frequency bands. They also still refuse to expand e-sim support across their portfolio of devices.

TCL makes excellent phones. They excel on build quality, battery life, antenna strength, cameras are acceptable (though not great), their display tech is the most eye-friendly, UI is close to stock Android with little-to-no bloat or adware. I also find it nice that half of their devices come with a stylus and will work mostly flawlessly with even a third-party stylus. However, they need to up their game when it comes to long term software support and expand their service centre networks.

If TCL had a wider presence in India, with decent long term software support and a good servicing network, I would gladly buy one of their devices. I have tried one of their NxtPaper devices. Seriously underrated. Those NxtPaper displays are heavenly for people with migraine issues, such as myself.

It will most likely have the next gen Snapdragon 8, the new antenna set-up which debuted in the Galaxy A56, the new cooling system which debuted in the S25 Edge, a stylus with removed features, a more thoroughly locked boot-loader, seven years of software support, a new AppCloud which sends your dick picks straight to Mossad, and the same old Samsung battery but with a new and improved anode.

The same applies for exercise as well. Sometimes, a motivational soundtrack can help.

The differences are minor. And I'm the kind of guy who can tell you the differences between two nearly-identical-looking species of sunbirds from twenty metres away.

If you showed someone a Galaxy S25 Ultra and lied to them that it is an S24 Ultra, they'd likely believe you.

S25 is more rounded, it's so obvious design wise, 22, 23 and 24 are identical, 25 is not!! even the cameras behind, the 25 has a ring to it which I find so ugly
