Yeah. My sister and bro-in-law have no issues using either. I, for one, can't stand iOS. But if someone can indeed use it and has no issues, I say go ahead. An iphone these days is looking like an okay option in the INR 60k+ bracket.

As much shite as Samsung is getting these days (most of it deserved) I still stand by my statement that their One UI is the best and most practical smartphone UI (more so than even stock Android). As much as I would like to see Huawei's own OS gain more traction and adoption across the industry (just for the sake of alternatives/competition) I must admit, sadly, that it sucks ass overall.

Honestly, I feel as though an older person would be better off with a Galaxy A-series device. Get him a Galaxy A55 or A56.

Currently in my parents-in-law's house in Mysore. Working on hotspot from here. It feels like I am on vacation and working simultaneously. It is actually rather peaceful and relaxing. A nice change of pace.

Thankfully, we're on the city's outskirts. Far from the Dasara festivities and crowds. Also, thankfully again, the weather is cool and pleasant. Mysore is normally scorching (29 to 38 Celsius year-round). But the weather is very cool and pleasant these past few days.

These two will know how bad Indian crowds can get during festival times. And that too Mysore Dasara. Yikes... Not as bad as that fukking Kumb Mela shit-show, but still Yikes...

I think we need actual property destruction and blood spilled for complete enshittification. Looking at the state of the tech industry right now, it is abundantly clear that we need a revolution.

Tech companies in the the UK did not start watching themselves and showing some basic human decency till some of their factories/offices were vandalized, trashed, even burned. We need more of that.

I am tired of pretending we don't need some violence. Because, at this point, we need some violence. We don't want it, of course. But it is needed.

I am actually enjoying myself. As I said: I feel relaxed.

When? Because the S25 series do not really improve upon the S24 series, and the S26 series is looking to be underwhelming as heck.
