I've decided to buy Asus Rog Zephyrus G15, 16GB RAM, 3050 RTX 1GB SSD

Apparently best performance for money laptop. Now...I just need to wait and see it in stock to buy it..............

 

My mom, my sister, my mother-in-law, my mom's younger sister all love winter. Their bodies run hot and they can't handle heat.

Meanwhile my never-seen-him-sweat dad, my wife, and tiny-as-a-mouse cold-blooded (physically; emotionally she's a sweet little thing) sister-in-law all wear sweaters at 28 Celsius.

And I, in-between them all, am sitting here wondering if I am abnormal or if they all are.

Was driving around cousins who grew up in America once. I was going over 110-120 on NICE road and my cousin brother freaked. Then he remembered that it's kmph and calmed down.

Don't even get me started on their projection.

What I find hilarious about this is that their beloved and wanked military uses metric.

Would an i5 be a viable option?

That's a good laptop, and one of the more sensible designs from Asus in the last few years. Only complaints I can think of are the lack of a webcam in some models and one RAM module being soldered. Yet others do have a webcam and not-soldered RAM modules. Check up on the one you're getting.

By the way, what CPU? Seeing as it's an RTX 3050M, I'm guessing Ryzen 5 5600H or i5-11300H or i5-11400H? Because those CPUs are what are usually paired with RTX 3050M these days (though I have seen quite a few models with RTX 3050M paired with Ryzen 5/7 4000 series and i5/i7 10th gen still being put out).

Acer Nitro 5/7 with Ryzen 5 5600H or or i5-11300H or i5-11400H, RTX 3050M, 16 GB RAM (x2 8 GB RAM modules) cost less and have overall better performance-price ratio. However, they come with 512 GB NVMe SSD standard and with no 1 TB SSD option out of the factory; albeit you do have two free slots for two more NVMe SSDs and also one additional SATA SSD slot. They have massive upgrade potential (in storage and memory) and also come with pretty much zero bloatware.
