Same here. Never returned to that franchise after that migraine of a movie.

The internet has actually had a positive and beneficial effect on social movements and electoral movements. It's no coincidence that the world's shittiest nations have an iron grip on internet while the most free and peaceful ones have little to no restrictions. Sure, the internet has been abused as a tool by fascists, but the pros do seem to outweigh the cons.

The true evils are social media companies that give an echo chamber to toxic groups, even promoting them instead of monitoring and cracking down on them.

I've seen bhakt types here talking about banning Twitter and Facebook and starting our own Indian social media.

I'm all for Indians staying on these American social networks.
