    Replaced HDD in office PC with an SSD. The performance difference was staggering. Makes a difference in most games as well.

    Yup. I can't imagine going back to HDD, especially in tasks like booting up or opening photoshop

    You can get by with an HDD these days if all you're doing is Tally, Winman, Excel, and XML converters. But if you plan on entertainment and even casual gaming, SSD is a must.

    My laptop from 2012-13 has a 7200 RPM HDD in it, and I get by. Only issue with 7200 RPM HDD is that it runs a tad warm.
