I got that motivation when I dislocated my knee a couple of years ago and my orthopaedic surgeon told me to shape up and get fit. I was never overweight, but I was out of shape.

Where do you think that Trump-like denial mentality comes from? It is the result of fear of being proven wrong and the fear of admitting mistakes.

So the 'Murican police in New York, St. Paul, and DC are acting like Delhi police during the anti-CAA protests. And police in most other blue and even red states are helping keep the calm, even showing solidarity with protesters.

So non-militarised police who actually talk with and listen to people instead of charging at them with horses, APCs, hoses, pepper spray, and dogs can help keep the peace and ensure order?

Calling Trump a mess is a massive understatement.

He ordered police to tear gas a peaceful protest outside St. John's Episcopal church, then stood if front of the church while improperly holding a bible for a photo-op. The bishop is now calling him out and showing solidarity with the protesters. And just before this all, it was confirmed that Trump personally talked with Putin over phone while cowering in the White House bunker as protesters raged outside the White House lawn.

It has been confirmed that the black man was NOT and FBI agent. Though it doesn't change the fact that he was racially profiled.

If you want to post a story about a black LEM officers who were profiled by cops, there are a shit tonne of stories of black officers and military vets shot dead by US cops (in one case it involved a UNIFORMED black dude).
