Collecting Certain Manga Volumes

Like let's say you wanted to collect Vagabond up to Volume 27, right before the Farming Arc... Would you do it?

 

Normally id collect a whole series rather then just parts +.+

 

Yeah I find it a waste of time if I'm only buying certain volumes. I either support it to the fullest or not.

Well thinking on it sometimes if im browsing either online or instore and i find something interesting i might buy the first few volumes then just leave it so i dont know if that counts

Although like i said the first time i often like collecting all of it just so it's a complete set

 

It could be that certain volumes and arcs are trash and not worth collecting. On the flip side some arcs could be so good that it would be worth doing anything to collect them.

Money is also a factor, most people wouldn't be willing to spend money to collect them all. They will only go for the best of the best.

 

I think it's because they like the epic fight scenes or the character interactions. When those drop in the next volume they don't think it's worth buying.

Then there is lack of money and availability. 15 Bucks/Dollars = 966 Rupees. There is no way I would spend so much on one volume. If I did I would only buy the best volumes, I won't buy all of them. The lack of availability is also a problem so people will be forced to order them and there are shipping charges which increase cost of the volume.

I don't think there been gaps is a problem either as the volumes which a person lacks, he can easily find the manga chapters of those volumes online and read them.

Of course these are all assumptions, don't take my words as facts. :angel

I agree but 15 × whatever could add up for low income people

 

Oh truth unless you like start collecting a series afterwarss or during or need to catch up

Some volumes are more pricey though and i dont mean one shots or anything.
