Synopsis

Kou Yamori is an average middle school student who struggles with grasping the complex concept of love. Because he sees little sense in surrendering to the norm, he soon stops going to school. Plagued with insomnia due to his idleness, Kou begins roaming the lonesome streets at night.

One night, Kou encounters a bizarre girl named Nazuna Nanakusa who believes that people stay awake during the night because they are dissatisfied with how they spent their day and cannot rest until they release their inhibitions. Nazuna offers to help Kou with his sleep issues and invites him over to her place, where she convinces him to share a futon with her. Feeling uncomfortable, Kou only pretends to doze off—which is when Nazuna suddenly bites his neck, revealing herself to be a vampire!

While Kou thinks the bite will turn him into a vampire, the specifics of transforming are not that simple. In order to change, he must be bitten by someone he truly loves. Ready to let go of his dreary mortal life, Kou decides on a new goal: he will fall in love with Nazuna and become a vampire himself.

Episode 1 was interesting so far. So the kid Kou, is unsatisfied struggling with middle school so sneaks out into the night. He meets the vampire girl name Nazuna who fools around with him a bit. Eventually they return to her house and he drifts off only to receive a bite on the neck. A person turns into a vampire if they fall in love with the vampire and get bit. Now he wants to turn into one.

 

Episode 2 was alright. So they decided to communicate over transceivers seeing as Nazuna doesn't have a proper modern mobile. Lol at the massive one. Looks like Kou has been caught by a classmate.

 

Episode 3 was ok. So Akira was his friend and the one who took the other transceiver but it was kind of a misunderstanding. She wants him to go back to school but Kou is clearly against that.

 

Episode 4 was pretty good. Poor Akira is also having a tough time sleeping. She was gonna go for a walk and wait for school at midnight? Christ. At least she ran into Kou and spend the night her Kou and Nazuna having fun. Akira really likes Kou it seems, but bit of a love triangle there. She overslept for school too.

 

Episode 5 was alright. So Nazuna used to be a "professional cuddler" and give massages and shit then suck people's blood. Now she wants Kou to massage the client because she's tired lol.

 

Episode 6 was ok. So the office worker kind of was having a break down over her shitty job and putting up with a bunch of crap. Now Kou said he'll turn her when he becomes a vampire lol. Afterwards Kou and Nazuna went to a pool part thing.

 

Episode 7 was interesting. More vampires entered the scene and caused some trouble for Nazuna. Seems like it's mostly worked out now.

 

Episode 8 was alright. So turns out Kou had another friend, Mahiru. They get along well. Also, Kou took date advice from Seri and it didn't turn out great.

 

Episode 9 was interesting. Kou hung out with Seri again and she had her own problems. She was going to just kill the kid, but they worked it out. She ended up turning Akihito into her spawn.

 

Episode 10 was actually pretty wholesome. So they ended up at a maid cafe and Nazuna is now working there. The old #1 Arisa was somewhat envious so took selfies pretending it was someone else taking them for validation. They worked out she was the culprit but the understanding around the actions made her relieved. Now she partakes in it with her friends.

 

Episode 11 was good. Kou ran into a detective and she kind of brushed him off. She's looking for Akihito. Kou, Akira and Mahiru visited the school at night to crack some legends and they actually ran into the teacher that disappeared 10 years ago. Turns out he turned into a vampire and abstained from drinking blood for 10 years. He was going to die anyway but the detective Anko killed him.

 

Episode 12 was interesting. Mahiru tried to convince Kou to drop the vampire thing. Same with the detective Anko. Kou was also a bit scared of vampires after the incident but that passed. He still wants to be one.

 

Episode 13 was ok. So Hatsuka is a dude and had a chat to Kou as Nazuna was getting chewed out by the other vampires. Kou went looking for her and confronted the other vampires. When she wasn't there he chased after her eventually finding her. She wasn't hurt at all and they reconciled.
