I think that thing might be a tailed beast growing inside boruto and that purple snake thing possessing people might be taking Chakra for boruto to absorb.

I think the basic theory is that the source of Boruto's powers is Orochimaru. There is also a possibility that Boruto is the jinchiruki of Yin Kiruna.

 

Why do you think boruto has a part of kurama. I do think he might have a bijuu growing inside him it looks like a tailed beast in beginning of the ep but not like the 9 tails

 

It's because it fits a parallel.

Yin Kuruma went from:-

Minato to Naruto to Boruto.
From Father to Son to Grandson.

If you pay attention, there are claw marks on the Homage monument. The only being capable of causing such widespread destruction is Kuruma.

Which is why I think Boruto has Yin Kuruma and Kawaki has Yang Kuruma.

Sure I would like to see the theory, I was looking closers at the picture and that the looks like a chimera it looks like it has a snake tail lion body maybe a eagles head

 

Also I think the snake might be coming from boruto the obvious thing is to assume is orir but maybe it's a tail beast inside boruto

If Naruto does die Kawakii might claim him. Also Naruto has the yin yang halves now and it wouldn't make sense for boruto to have either half.

The picture looks like it has a snakes tail and lion body. It might be a griphom tailed beast growing inside him hawk head represent connection to Sasuke the lion body to hyuga and snake tail to oro.

What i liked though was milf Temari being as cool as always and showing how to handle the lazy duo.

 

Nah it looks more like a gryphon a chimera has a goats head

 

It could be a chimera since in its general sense refers hybrid of animals

Also in Naruto movie a character uses a chimera technique that acts like momoshikis power
