    Synopsis
Hushed exchanges among the female student populace of Shinyo Academy center around an enigmatic supernatural entity. This entity is Boogiepop, a Shinigami who is rumored to murder people at the height of their beauty before their allure wanes. Few know of his true nature: a guardian who, between periods of dormancy, manifests as the alter ego of a high school girl named Touka Miyashita to fend off "the enemies of the world." Now, a string of mysterious disappearances—presumed by the school to be merely runaways—has caused Boogiepop to awaken. But somewhere in the academy, a menacing creature hides, waiting for its opportune moment to strike.

Boogiepop wa Warawanai subtly explores the intrinsic associations between human beings and their perception of time, while delving into its characters' complex relationships, emotions, memories, and pasts.

Episode 1 was pretty interesting. Boogiepop is like a split personality almost of Touka with superhuman abilities. I assume the whole goodbye thing is just her lying in wait. Looks like the alleged murdered of the school girls has meat her know.

Episode 2 was good. Getting a bit complex. So Echoes is allegedly an alien from space. Evolved too much and was caught by the government/scientists. They made a clone, the clone turned into the manticore/man eat. After teaming up from that sicko guy from school, they were brainwashing students, having them create some drug from their brain and share it with friends and then they end up being killed and eaten. The cycle continues with the plan being to gather an army to combat the people that cloned her. Now they've killed the wrong person and seems the original Echoes will be hot on their trail with Nagi Kirima.

Episode 3 was good. It seemed that Nagi Kirima was done for with Echoes, but Echoes transferred his healing ability to her before returning back to wherever he was from. Then, Boogiepop came in to finish things. Also I think the kid whose girlfriend died came back after running off like a coward and killed the manticore. Unless they were different characters. Finding it a bit confusing because they characters all basically look the same.

Episode 4 was interesting. So the teacher is a guidance councilor and helps students. He can see a rose which is some representation of what the person has and is lacking. He met Boogiepop on a few occasions, the latest one running into a former promising student turned drug addict and then dealer, and Boogiepop/she killed herself, pretty sad. Now it seems like he is taking it into his own hands to combat bad.

Episode 5 was ok. So it's the events of the last one from a different perspective. The poor girl Aya is being used and abused against her will along with many others due to this organization made up at least partially of non humans, seemingly man eaters. The other guy was mixed up in it but freed. Wonder if Aya will also end up freed.

Episode 6 was ok. So the teacher is the imaginator whatever that means. Seems like he is controlling people in the same manner as the organization. This show is just a bunch of vague concepts thrown together and it's so confusingly mixed together in some weird attempt at being deep.

Episode 7 was ok. Man this show just gets really retarded in some moments. So they had Orihata try to get pregnant to crossbreed because apparently she's an artificial human. Then again, how does this make sense because the cousin of the imaginator Kotoe is saying to Orihata that she's had success even though she's a copy.. But she's a human, unless they transplated the mind of something else into her, but pretty retarded shit with no actual explanation.

Episode 8 was ok. So Orihata's suffering is in the open now to Masaki. Nagi Kirima kicked ass again at least. Looks like Jin dealt with Spooky E, till he killed himself.

Episode 9 was ok.. Lol Poor Suema got there too late. Boogiepop surfaced and took out the imaginator. But just randomly Jin lost his power and is normal again. Nothing was done with the artificial human Orihata. Also somehow the Towa organisation isn't Boogiepop's enemy? Wat.

Episode 10 was interesting, but also weird. So Nagi Kirima was in hospital for a while due to "growing pains" but in actuality she was evolving. It's vague if it was "natural" evolution, or from experiments of the Towa organization. I assume she is human. Either way, the detective administered a drug which would act as a vaccine against the evolution and bring her back to what she is now.

Episode 11 was interesting. So the psychiatrist I think she is, that also helped Nagi Kirima found the liquid. Tested on rats if that was the cause of her healing. Then injected herself and now has become a full psycho going around murdering people. Boogiepop has appeared before her in the form of Touka and they might battle it out soon.

Episode 12 was alright. So Nagi's father was murdered. By one of the people investigating the killer in the current incidents. Nagi thinks he'd never kill anyone, but he killed her father. The lady set the trap and now Nagi is on the way to her.

Episode 13 was alright. That story is wrapped up. So the assassin failed and was murdered. Nagi pretty took down the doctor, who admitted she wasn't human anymore. No actual explanation, cool. Boogiepop showed up and wrapped things up. Seems like Boogiepop doesn't even know how she/it ends up in the normal world and idk if it's like planets or dimensional. I don't think the show knows either..

Episode 14 was ok. So the next antagonist is the "King of distortion". Idk what his plan involves, but seems like manipulation of people are key.
