Synopsis​

After an enthusiastic invitation from her friend, Kaede Honjou reluctantly agrees to try New World Online: a very popular VRMMO played by thousands of people across Japan. Naming her in-game character Maple, she sets out on her journey. As a complete novice to such games, she allocates all of her stat points into vitality, desiring to not get hurt. With not a single point in any other stat, Maple has extraordinarily high defense, but she can't move quickly or hit hard.

This doesn't end badly for her, however. Due to her high defense, Maple acquires overpowered skills such as Total Defense, Poison Immunity, and Devour. These skills, along with the incredibly powerful items she obtains, allow her to obliterate most enemies in a single hit. After only a few days of playing the game, Maple claims third place in a server-wide event, gaining a reputation as a player who is both unkillable and absurdly powerful.

Despite her overpowered character, Kaede has much to learn. As she progresses through the game, she meets new friends and acquaintances, helping her complete new levels and events. Through all of her adventures, she may even pick up some other crazy skills that exceed all expectations.

Episode 1 was fantastic. Man, Maple is such an adorable character. She's so cute lol. Was funny watching her pile everything into defense and somehow eating the hydra to death. Got here neat armor too.

 

Episode 2 was great. Was nice seeing Sally and Maple team up, they're doing well so far.

 

Episode 3 was good. Maple and Sally are doing great. Was cool that Sally took that boss down and they're at level 2 now. Next event is a treasure hunt.

 

Episode 4 was good. So the event has started. They fell down that hole coincidentally and beat the monster and scored. Then tracked up the mountain and generously gave the next one to the other group, but they got rekt. Trust Maple and Sally to beat it. Cute reward they got too, little monster pets.

 

Episode 5 was great. They did well getting through that place with Kasumi. Also met Kanade who showed them that puzzle. Was funny seeing Sally go on a pvp rampage while Maple was levelling the pets in the cave. Lol at her chosen skill to make a giant flying turtle and spit poison rain on everything.

 

Episode 6 was great. Lol at Maple using game stuff in school. Took a while but they got a cool house and have now started their guild.

 

Episode 7 was good. They've done well levelling up the new girls May and Yui. LMAO at Maple doing that random quest line and getting another broken skill. Also the sheep skill. Looks like we'll have a pvp match soon.

 

Episode 8 was good. Maple got even more skills lmao. Also, she got the ability of some broken mecha suit now .

 

Episode 9 was good. The fourth event has started! Sally going off stealing orbs. Lol at the flame leader breaking down because she got away. Maple Tree did great taking the group down.

 

Episode 10 was great. Sally and Kanade did great getting orbs, Maple to the rescue with Sally. Now Maple vs Mii, nice.

 

Episode 11 was great. Great battle with Maple vs Mii and her guild. Was an amazing fight. God Robot cleaned house. Now Maple vs Pain, damn.

 

Episode 12 was great! The battle was tough, and I had forgotten about that monster skill lol, Maple won in the end and their guild ended up placing 3rd, nice. The little party at the end was nice too. Great show.
