Okay, I have decided that this contest is best suited to be Bi-Weekly. Weekly is too short of a time period for people to make entries while Monthly will be way too long. Bi-Weekly is the best middle route. Here is how the schedule of the contest would be :-

Day 1 : The Sign Up Thread is posted.
Day 1 to Day 7 : This will be the waiting period where all participants will post their entries.
Day 8 : The Voting Thread will be posted.
Day 8 to Day 14 : This will be the voting period.
Day 14 : The winners of the contest are declared.

The Bi-Weekly format ensures that two contests will happen every month.

A deadline of the 13th for an xmas themed contest?

What deadline would you prefer then ?

 

For an event that is xmas and new years themed? New Years.

 

Current plan is :-

03 to 13 - entry time - 10 days
14 - 24 - voting time - 11 days
25th Christmas - winners declared

It won't go till New Year's as that day will be filled in with another event.

Writer's contest will be going for a hiatus. If there are three people who are interested to participate, then I will resume the contest immediately.

This is the Prize list :-

For getting First place, you will get the Best Writer Award , 1500 Keno and 25 days Pro.
For getting Second place, you will get 1000 Keno and 15 days Pro.
For getting Third Place, you will get 500 Keno and 7 days Pro.
For participating, you will get 150 Keno.
