I don't think it started like that, he seemed to genuinely want to share his nation's prosperity with the rest of the world. Somewhere along the line it ended up being about being the ultimate ruler of it all. I raised the point, more so thinking if he had the guidance of avatar, maybe the whole conflict could've been avoided instead of the, "lol, no" he got. Which wasn't really the wrong answer, but the whole thing was swept under the rug.

It, it surely wouldn't have been easy by any means, just interesting to think that the whole war maybe could've been avoided if things were handled differently. Or maybe it'd be the same anyway.

I know, that's why I pointed it out. It's so risky. I'd assume so.

His intentions were noble originally and yes the answer Roku gave was not the most helpful even a let me think about this would have been better since I think Sozin while annoyed would have let him think since it's pretty big. Still, the way I see it is say Roku agrees to an extent Sozin would still have to push for the fire nation's status as if he gives too much or the people think he is giving to much he and his nation could be seen as weak. They go around and have to work out deals with each nation and those leaders more so in the Earthkingdom would also want to not be seen as weak. If things go wrong its war.

This actually sounds like a really interesting what-if scenario less about having to prove yourself in combat but behind politics.
Maybe it is going fairly well until one day Roku Island erupts as it does in canon and Roku passes away though why Sozin doesn't save him in this timeline I don't know maybe he just fails too and then over the next 12 years, he without the help of his friend becomes more violent perhaps he begins to think his friend abandoned him and then we get the series proper again.

Yeah, agreed. Yeah, it'd take a lot of effort for it to be balanced, although I suppose that's where Roku would come in as some sort of intermediary.

Yeah, scenarios like this are interesting to think about.

Episode 48 was pretty twisted. Feel bad for the old lady how she turned out, can't really blame her.

Episode 49 was amazing. Lost my shit a few times at the dreams and hallucinations. Especially when Appa and Momo were sword fighting. xD

Episode 50 was good. Enjoying the group all together attacking. Poor Aang, no Fire Lord in sight.

  8. The music from the school episode was so good. I felt like dancing along. Lol
