Synopsis

A 20-year-old shut-in is suddenly transported from his apartment, only to appear in front of a goddess who offers him a second chance at life. Although she grants him overpowered magical abilities in this new world, when he awakes as the newborn Prince Reinhardt, his talents are only measured at Level 2. Thinking their child to be an abysmal failure, his royal parents abandon him in the woods. There, the prince, who names himself Haruto, encounters Flay, a Flame Fenrir who decides to devote her life in service to him. Haruto's relative, Gold Zenfis, meets them both in the woods and decides to adopt the child as his own.

Nine years pass with Haruto under the care of the Zenfis family. His mastery over his overpowered barrier magic increases by the day, though Haruto would rather not use it to help others. He practices his magic in secret, preferring to have his family believe that he is weak. However, his younger sister, Charlotte, discovers his strength, and with the assistance of Flay, Haruto protects her and the rest of the Zenfis family from harm. With a shifty plot stirring in the kingdom, Haruto only wishes to stay inside and watch anime, but it seems he will have to use his magic to keep the family that took him in safe.

Episode 1 was good. Previously a 20-something shut in, reincarnated by a goddess as Prince Reinhardt. Although the goddess made him broken, she forgot about elemental damage, and set his level at 1002, although the world caps levels in the hundreds, so his level shows as 002. Due to this, his parents abandoned him in the woods due to fearing backlash. How awful.

Shortly after, he experimented with his barrier magic. He can do ridiculously complicated things with it. This is when he encountered and was attacked by a flame fenrir, who tried to eat him to regain mana. He easily defeated her, and she wrongly assumed he was a reincarnated demon lord, so he rolled with it. He also told her his name was Haruto and he nicknamed her Flay, which she was happy with and wanted to serve under him due to the defeat.

Due to being abandoned Haruto was now starving, so with barrier magic acting as his voice, he told Flay that he needed breasts (breast milk) and she turned into a human form, although obviously she isn't producing milk. It was at this time that Gold Zenfis appeared and wanted to adopt Haruto due to what happened. He and his wife lost their own baby, and didn't support him being tossed away like trash. Gold also came with some breast milk, which was crucial for Haruto.

With 9 years having past, Haruto is still living with the family, due to the love they've given him, even thought he originally planned to leave sooner. They also have a daughter, Charlotte who is a bit withdrawn around Haruto, although she doesn't hate him, like he seems to think.

Haruto is still planning to leave, and has tried to make a clone from his barrier magic, which is a great success to a degree, but unfortunately it can't move/talk.

His father Gold then trained him with some sword play, and although Haruto is obviously very amateurish, he also is stupid over powered. after the training, Gold spoke with his wife Natalia and said he thought he might be a reincarnated demon, but she denied this. He also confirmed he didn't really care one way or another. Likewise, Charlotte overheard and doesn't think he's a demon, but does thing something is up with him.

 

Episode 2 was good. Gold and his group that went to confront bandits were beaten pretty badly. With his barriers, Haruto was able to heal them. Flay was insulting them a bit, which got Haruto a little angry in the moment and he scolded her. In return, Flay made a bigger deal out of it and kept silent. They made up that night thought, with Haruto saying it was fine.

Turns out, the bandits had some soldiers in it too, from the Kingdom. Haruto was very angry and took them all out with Flay's help, then sent an anonymous letter to Gold explaining things, although they kept it anonymous that he did it. Unfortunately Charlotte saw them go out, but she thought there was somehow two Haruto's, because his clone was in bed. This caused Haruto to monitor Charlotte who kept following him around to try and uncover more about him.

Charlotte and the mother Natalia left to go to an annual festival. They were attacked on their way back. Haruto came to the resque and with Natalia indicating who helped them was a true hero of justice, this had Charlotte warming up to Haruto finally. She instantly realised it was him too when he came back to the cave with Natalia. When Natalia and Charlotte finally returned home after being escorted by Flay, Charlotte hugged him and indicated they were finally getting along because "she changed her mind".

 

Episode 3 was good. Charlotte went from avoiding Haruto, to now being too obsessed. Charlotte showed Haruto a library he somehow missed to further research into ancient magic. She'd already been read the books by Natalia and Flay. Haruto ended up blabbing about anime to Charlotte, and in the end, using his magic, he somehow managed to get devices connected to his streaming accounts LMAO. Charlotte ended up addicted, although Haruto but some restrictions in place. Seems like Charlotte is a genius.

With her anime addiction and watching some hero stuff, and seeing Haruto as a hero, she begged him to help with the bandit problems, and he agreed. He met his father and said about himself being a currently unnamed hero. Charlotte thought he did great.

Haruto's blood related siblings came to visit. The sister Marianne is a sweat heart but the younger brother Laius is a bit of a ****. Was satisfying watching Haruto put him in his place. Haruto seems to think that his biological parents have been looking into him, which seems odd as they through him away at birth seeing his magical power.

 

Episode 4 was good. At the behest of Charlotte, Haruto investigated some shady people. Turns out the queen had her guards try and summon a bunch of monsters into the kingdom. She wants to kill Charlotte specifically, but in general, take out their family, so to remove a threat to her power. Turns out she's actually strong, and single handedly beheaded the demon king. Seems a bit weird she went from that, to a bad person. Although maybe she only fought for her own ends to start with.

It was also arranged for the princess Marianne and the prince Laius to go on a tour with Charlotte and Haruto. Haruto conversed with Gold about the thing involving the queen, and he wasn't surprised. He also indicated that currently it wasn't a good idea to touch the queen, as that could cause a civil war, but someone (Haruto) could succeed as the ruler in the future. Haruto thought he was talking about Charlotte though.

Seems like Haruto will soon meet his biological mother again.

 

Episode 5 was good. The queen Gizelotte berated her people for failing to take out Charlotte again, and was prepared to step forward to take out the disguised Haruto, only for him to appear. The queen is indeed powerful, and Haruto acknowledged such. Unfortunately for her, she's still far beneath him, so Haruto was able to defeat her, and then put a slave collar on her, adding further humiliation. If she forced it off, it would take her head off. This put a stop to all of her schemes, and for the last 5 years, things have been fine.

While Haruto, Charlotte and Flay were playing in the snow, Gold and Natalia showed up too. Gold and Haruto then had a conversation about the queen, and it was confirmed she had done nothing further. After that, Gold dropped him bombshell onto Haruto, that he's being forced to attend school. Haruto tried to worm his way out, but the princess Marianne is the one that had the king recommend him, so there's no getting out of it.

Haruto has been struggling to find an attendant to take, as Gold refused to let him take Flay. Natalia offered to go but was rejected. He also made a teleporter between the house and his own little place where he reads in comfort as a shut in. It was tested to transport people by Flay and the clone.

 

Episode 6 was good. Haruto spent a lot of time trying to figure out a good attendant to take. He ruled out the skeletons due to the talking. He ruled out the golem too. A blue dragon that flew on the border of their territory interrupted his search. It was attacked by a bunch of adventurers and just fled.

Haruto and Flay arrived in time to save it, and Haruto healed it up. Flay praised Haruto a lot, and then they both heard the dragon's backstory. Due to disliking violence, it holed up in the mountain and just read books all day every day. Haruto appreciated that.

The dragon agreed to serve Haruto, then transformed to its human form. The dragon is female and has now been named Liza. She's quite small and very cute! When she could still sprout little wings and fly in dragon form, this made Flay a bit jealous.

 

Episode 7 was good. The maids put Liza through the training and she excelled at everything, much to poor Flay's dismay. She's a bit jealous that Liza is basically perfect at everything while she struggles. Haruto has decided on Liza as his attendant although he's a bit reluctant due to her being Charlotte's new best friend. He decided it would be ok with the teleporting though.

Now Charlotte learnt about Haruto attending school, and called an emergency meeting with some of the other because of it, and the horrors that Haruto told her about school. Haruto is still planning to try and get kicked out straight away.

Haruto also made a device to measure everyone's magic. Naturally, Liza's and Flay's is great. Charlotte's is damn good too, even with the potential to far surpass the guess. But when she was a baby, she summoned a fireball, so Natalia is against it.

 

Episode 8 was good. Turns out the queen in still scheming. She's been funding a group of people that worship demons. She also strangled Marianne before releasing her. She also has asked Laius to get intel on Haruto's alter-ego from him. Looks like Laius has chilled out since his defeat. Apparently Marianne is also crushing on Haruto.

Haruto on his way to school helped out a carriage that was being attacked. Then finally made it to the school and had to wait for the long line to clear, before filling in a bunch of paperwork. When he was finally done, he and Liza went back to the house. Poor Haruto was then dragged back by Charlotte and Flay to get dinner then. They then started exploring the city, with Flay and Liza going separately and Haruto and Charlotte going together. Haruto bumped back into the woman who he helped, before he hurried her off.

 

Episode 9 was good. To start out, Haruto 2 advised Haruto that a test needed to be taken before he could join the school. The real Haruto took the exam, and went in with the intent of failing to drop out. He even just answered basically "no idea" to some of the questions.

After the written test, Haruto was taken to test his mana. A small teacher Tearietta seems obsessed with ancient magic lol. She's the one that measured his mana. During this, he destroyed the object, which made her thrilled. She also didn't expect him to answer all of the exam questions perfectly, so he ended up getting into the school.

During school, the clone ran into some douche vice president noble named Schneider along with that girl Irisphilia. When Haruto tried to ignore Schneider harassing himself and Irisphilia for not engaging with his stupid etiquette, he attacked Haruto. Luckily the barrier the original placed meant no damage came ot the clone. The clone even humiliated Schneider by attacking him.

Schneider requested a dual with Haruto, and Haruto informed the original. After this, Irisphilia went to Schneider's residence to persuade him to drop the dual. Schneider ordered her to "dance naked" and he'd consider it. Irisphilia actually started to go through with it, before Haruto intervened. Haruto placed a Vice Block on him, which basically causes pain if he does any antagonistic move. He's going to try and seek revenge.[/COLOR]

 

Episode 10 was good. Looks like Haruto got a bit popular from standing up to Schneider. Poor Haruto was being bombarded by the teacher again, to get him to join her. Then he ran into both Laius and Marianne. They were both please to see him. They also tried to get Haruto with them for studying. In the end, Irisphilia interrupted them and Haruto took her as his way out.

Turns out Irisphilia wanted to thank him and become his friend. Haruto agreed accidentally. But he was happy too. Irisphilia also wanted to do classes with him, which he agreed to. When Haruto learnt her name, it was also at the same time Flay told Liza the name of the demon king, which is the same, so I guess Irisphilia is the reborn demon king. Irisphilia also met Charlotte.

 

Episode 11 was good. Haruto is in the C rank class, basically just average. Irisphilia got into the A rank class, naturally. Haruto got hit with an exam straight up, and it was stuff that apparently Charlotte has solved since she was very young. While he could do it easily, he pinned about 60% to make it look like he wasn't purposefully doing bad. Turns out, he's the only one that scored that high, and was moved to A rank classes, with most B ranks not even hitting 50% or greater.

With the move up classes, he ended up with Irisphilia and Laius. Due to having a deeper idea on magic, and unknown properties, the teacher was gushing over him. Seems like Charlotte was the one sending the school research anonymously into the study of magic.

Moving over to the class with Tearietta, Schneider ended up with her to try and figure out the magic on him. It was indeed a barrier, but Tearietta said basically no one is capable of that class of magic. Schneider mentioned who put it on him, and in a smart move, the real Haruto showed up, diverting attention away from the clone Haruto and the king's recommendation of him. Tearietta is enamoured with the abilities Haruto in disguise showed.

 

Episode 12 was good. A bit of a celebration was thrown with Irisphilia and Haruto joining the research team. Schneider had some group try to take out Haruto, and that failed spectacularly. This lead to Schneider himself injecting himself and transforming into some demon form. Luckily for Schneider, Charlotte begged Haruto to actually help him, so Haruto obliged turning Schneider back to a human. Things continue to escalate in the capital.
