Yeah, I don't think Heiya will pair up with Arisu, I had just assumed she would be a main character and join their group.

Yeah, how upfront she was caught me off guard, then immediately rejected lol.

Seems that way. although he said if there was another way aside from dying to atone, then went off to die???

Side Story chapter 5 was good. I didn't expect a return of Aguni so soon. LMAO Heiya's first concern is hoping that Aguni isn't gay. Interesting that the further they get from the 23 wards, the worse things seem to be, in context hear, Heiya compares it to being like 10 years having passed.

There was some hopes of not eating bugs, and Heiya was going to hunt some deer, but due to the weather, they ended up eating bugs. xD

Heiya was up front about Aguni being her type, only to be rejected. xD

Of course Dodo's Visa is expiring within the day. After having some comment about them being like family, it got into Aguni's head. Aguni went off to face the King alone, and Dodo wants to fight but Heiya wants no part in it. Dodo has gone out alone to help Aguni.

Yeah, and Dodo seems to have the best luck in the series lol. He arrived and fucked things up as usual, but them somehow it works out better.

I thought you were talking in general at first, but yeah, if the Shiirabi's game spans the whole of Borderland, then no one should die with their vis expiring. So this seems like a potential plot hole, but I don't think that anyone's visa has expired since stage 2, and I guess if he dies here it doesn't really matter.

See if Dodo gets lucky like he usually does, or if things end badly.

Side Story chapter 6 was good. Wonder what this "liberation army" is? Wonder if that has any involvement with Borderland.

Dodo arrived to **** things up, but in the end it worked out to be good. Seems that Shiirabi is getting hit with some PTSD.

So the reason Shiirabi is the way he is, is due to his time with the military. His close friend and himself got fucked over and, his friend ended up going to die anyway so told Shiirabi to escape alone, but he had Shiirabi finish him off so he didn't have to endure pain.

Heiya came in with the clutch, shooting some rope over to the collapsing building to allow an escape. Dodo did a switch up at the end allowing Aguni to escape while he "stalled" Shiirabi.

Dodo is way too lucky, almost unbelievably so.

Didn't we see all of them? Isn't it Mira?

Side Story chapter 7 was good. Well, the shootout went about as expected. Shiirabi was hit and miraculously Shiirabi has terrible aim and hits Dodo in the arm/shoulder area. Dodo slips down, presumably into the ocean. Wait, is it not ocean that is deep? Heiya is just standing in it.

Damn, Aguni just rushed Shiirabi taking multiple bullets, then snapped his neck so much his head was facing backwards.

Aguni survived and got passed his trauma. Heiya found Dodo and saved him. Things all worked out except only Aguni was awarded a Visa extension. Interesting that apparently the next Royal Card Game is the last one in the Second Stage. Heiya and Dodo went off alone to the last game.

I mean, he is just a player that is wanting to self document things, it seems like. But yeah, he seems to have learnt a lot, although nothing overly helpful yet. This shady guy might be a key part though.

Chapter 50 was good. So this chapter takes place sometime during the previous game? Interesting, one of the people is a reporter, Kaito Kameyama, and he wants to find out everything he can about Borderland and presumably report on it.

It's interesting, Kaito actually visits his own house, and it does seem like a lot of time has passed due to the layers of dust about.

On day eight he visited the Ministry of Defence, the American Embassy and a radio station, but got nothing out of it. No records nationwide hav been updated since the day of the fireworks. So it's almost like time has frozen but then while time was frozen for people, everything moved forward like a decade or two.

Kaito filmed a few twisted things that came out of people that arrive there. Wow, Yuji Mahiru found/showed Kaito the way to the command centre the dealers were operating, although as it was during the second stage, they were all already dead. But someone was there to congratulate them on finding it? It's also theorized they are selecting someone for something else, and there may also have been another way to do the games.

I think she's going to pair up with Agni long-term.

They're looking for the new face value cards for the next game, I think.

    That would make sense.

Yeah, I didn't think of that, something else would be new residents in context I suppose.

I just want to know how the face value cards survived. There doesn't seem to be an abundance of food in the Borderlands. They also don't seem to have any permanent areas with power. They were hidden or isolated from the players until all of the base value cards were finished so they had to be staying somewhere.

I presume they get food, after all the prison had a massive abundance of food good enough for I think many months or a year or something? So they must get resources as residents.

Yeah, they must be staying in some location.

Yeah, that was my thought. They weren't exposed/at risk until after all of the non face value cards were acquired.

Yeah exactly, just like how the Dealers were "safe" basically.

Chapter 51 was good. I didn't expect this guy to be a player. Baited. xD He's enjoying what is left edible of the food there, as the electrical system has been down since the second stage began. Apparently he was in a group that tried infiltrating the place before the second stage. In the instance of getting the dealer to speak, the dealer was killed, as expected. However, when they tried cutting off a finger and scanning it, the laser went for them instead. When they got in, the second stage had started so anything useful had been purged. So while the mystery man knows some things, he's taking them to their "camp" to get answers. Apparently it's very moronic.

On the walk to the camp, it's noted that the Visa always loop the month of July. How strange. Damn, their base is packed. Lots of cars and people, they all seem to be living fine. How interesting.

Dude, are ******* kidding me? Absolute insane blue balling. Finally we were about to get an answer from the woman, because she knew what really happened due to having a small hole surgically drilled into her brain as a child. So there weren't fireworks, but something else. I feel like Aliens at this point.

In the end, Arisu was the one to find the video recording, and seems like he will change his mind again on doing nothing. xD

    Chapter Fifty-One
Dang, that's some foreshadowing. Right when we think we're going to get an answer, the lady gets shot by the King of Spades. I would say I'm surprised but I'm really not, it seems to be becoming a common trend.

Kind of surprised that it was Arisu who found and reviewed the footage. Guess he's going to get motivated to start moving and participating in the pursuit of the truth.

Side Story: King of Diamonds Pt. 1
Yeah, I don't understand Mahjong at all. Pretty much just noticing that the serial killer medical student keeps popping up in these weird mental games. He always seems to catch the face card players off guard with outrageous last minute moves.

And now we're in some obscure beauty competition with scales.

Surprising to see a former member of the Beach as one of the face value cards, the King of Diamonds to be exact.

So a mathematician, a loan shark, a medical student and a security analyst walk into a court....

Sounds like the beginning of a dumb joke.

Interesting game. Games with games. Mind game for sure. How high or low do you pick? The higher each number picked, the higher the average of the sums. But if someone picks a low number or outlier, it can heavily skew the data one way or another. The mathematician should be able to figure out a method to come close most times. But I have a feeling things are going to get more complicated.

Yep, the loan shark is the outlier and skewing things for everyone else, leading to the mathematician to become more and more unhinged.

The loan shark and the medical student remain but they are at a large disadvantage.

The weight of a life...how much is it worth?

So, do you think the fireworks were:
    1) Aliens
    2) Bombs
    3) Flash bangs
    4) Other

The blue balling was wild lmao. It makes sense to be him to have him get his fire back (presumably).
