    It was set up a few chapters ago, so I think Kubo knew what he was doing. The explanation did it's job, though I do think it was a little...far-fetched.

    Breaking News: Aizen still OP, his suppressed spiritual pressure alone is enough to disintegrate fodders who come too close. That leads me to believe he still has the power from the Hogyouku.
