investigating evilgenius seems a good decision right now

he doesn't seem comfortable with being copped, which means he's most likely not godfather. This would make our life easier, as if he investigates town he's town, and if he investigates wolf he's wolf.

 

...his claim is strong. It's understandable if he wants the cop to invest someone else. Let White chooses his own target tonight.

@Crispickle Logically, mafia will give the strongest fake claim to their GF. Not some random fodder. So the GF will be more like real town if combined with innocent result.

 

Truth it's good to make suggestions to cop at the very least

i guess it makes sense, but then again i agree with falcon when he says mafia has been doing some questionable decisions so far, plus they might have ended up with a team where nobody knows the lore. That's gonna make their cover game a lot more fragile i think

 

It's easy to know if the mafia get strong claim unless they are too lazy to check the fake claim they get.

Mafia usually get a fake flavour claim in Ratchet and Rot games. So they won't have a role made up for them, but just a character name. That's to prevent strategies where the game starts with a mass claim and mafia get caught because they claimed someone that's already in the game. Because it's not fun ^^.

Depends, usually they get less fake claims than they have members, so if their fake claim had been already used, or if they were planning to use it for another member of their team, EvilGenius would have needed to come up with a name himself. The Death Note game I previously talked about, where L was Mafia's fake claim, Mafia were a party of 2 and L was their only fake claim. And you had a lone Serial Killer who didn't have a fake claim, I believe.
If EG's claim is as strong as pou says, then either he's scum and that's the fake claim Ratchet gave him (I don't see Mafia fake claiming a strong character without knowing that no one else will counterclaim), or he's Town and that's his character. But if it was his fake claim, I think he wouldn't have been as reluctant to give it as he was here, because, well, Town asks you to claim, you have a fake claim, a regular Mafia guy would roll with it. Unless he wanted someone else to use that fake claim later. But I lean more towards town than scum for him for the moment.
