I don't particularly disagree with Ratchet. His replies were all over the place so it being a case of noobishness is more than possible. I wouldn't throw him the town card just yet, but it's still worth keeping in mind anyways.

 

Is professor Globear trying to teach me mafia now? How does that statement matter at all? After getting tunneled for 2 dps someone will just stop defending. It's not knowing how to defend, it's being sick of defending.

You can't get sick of defending after barely a page though. High octane communities can dig on the same people for weeks and go figure they still defend themselves to go for the win. I mean sure you can get leeway for being a complete beginner, but it's still a quick point to call it quits on.

Because it's essentially the same. If a player feels overly pressured for no reason, they are going to get sick of defending. Why is the timeframe important? What are you even doing Ningen? For real arguing timeframes now?

That being said, I don't think Crimson Reaper is scummy for doing these things. He himself said that he's new to this game, so I'd expect his scum team to give him more advice overall.
While most of his reasons for not being a possible scum are awful, they more seem to align with a new player. That being said Nick was trying to rolefish. That's way scummier. Asking Crimson Reaper to claim out of nowhere just because he did as town in the cancelled last game doesn't make him scum now.
