Normal Game Thread Big Trouble in Little Salem

Yeah that kinda stinks. Though being delayed until Day 3 or later would technically be a restriction all the same.

Eh, OCG still doesn't confirm Town. Maybe if I could come up with a plan to work it, but I was far too passive this game to do that.

 

Its kinda a way you can read someone as being Town or Scum tho.

You PM someone
Tell them you can give a gun to someone where they can shoot someone
You decide to give the gun to the person you have been talking to about this
And agreement is made where they shoot the person you both agree on
They don't shoot that person
They just Scum claimed.

 

But they could claim Block, and if we're reaching an agreement it stands to reason they wouldn't include their scum mates if they were scum, so they'd just shoot Town. And if I insisted they shoot one player who happened to be their scum mate, refusing to do so only really makes sense as there isn't much reason to just trust my own reads simply because I told them too. If anything, all it could have been used for is confirm myself as Town to one person, which just paints a target on my back.

 

Consider that Shinto actually got killed. They wouldn't be able to claim that they were blocked because there is no RBer.

Also, going to go ahead and give a read I gave on shinto way back in the thread because I think it might shed some light on the subject.

You are really my only hope at this point. I actually think that Ratchet could be misguided Town here and I have a Town read on Prada. The real question here is if wowee is someone who can pull off this kind of game as Scum as a new player. I think they are Town, but given that you are practically confirmed in my eyes and Ratchet could be Town here, that puts me in pretty dire straits. I keep going back and forth on a few people, which is not good considering all the info we have at this point. I am only certain that CF needs to be lynched today unless crisp comes in here and claims bus driver.

If you have a town read on me, Ratchet, and Prada, then I guess you're saying that CF, Cripickle, and wowee are scum. I do see this day phase being awfully one-sided against your favor and it's almost laughable because at the core of the problem, it seems as if there is no real reason beyond CF claimed against you. Fine if you did a shit job at defending or whatever, but I almost expected a stronger resistent and if you end up flipping town, all I can say is well, you made your mistakes and CF was eloquent enough. Not that I'm guiltless considering I wasn't that active in terms of contribution. I see no one responded to my post and it feels bad because it would be nice if someone did so I can have a clearer view of the situation, preferably from both sides cuz bias and all of that. I'll have a vote on CF for now because I do have a hard time believing you're scum.

Man just woke up, reading up. All Quick is doing is arguing semantics. This first part is aimed at his comments;

- I asked Cow "is it only d3 or any day after d3?" it was day 3 onward
- It's not restricted by "night" / "day" in this setup. I explore a body, I get results.
- The argument "Oh hey look I'm even night gunsmith, I match all the other roles!!!" after the fact that you lied about your role and only added it AFTER the fact is incredible...
- It's a cute defense though, yeah my role is weird compared to everyone else, but I get it; that's how it was balanced and limited, most likely to not cripple mafia on the very first kill.

Now to the comment that "well he added things as he went, must be scum"

Prada buddying with you and Maple and with it someone I know to be 100% scum and running with huge town cred and a cop fake claim on a 3/7 near lynch majority.

That to me was SCARY as hell so yes while I did release more as phase went on because I had to get the main info out PRONTO before you painted a pretty picture and got a lynch flowing on some misdirection tactic.
You could have painted a gun into anyone's hands and called them out as scum.
You had Maple and Prada there willing and eager to help with the vote since it'd be "guaranteed" coming from you.

How is there nothing sus against Quick, his interactions and posts last few phases were all over the place, jumping from one read to another he was frantic as hell.

I came out fully knowing that my claim would sound convenient but that's the role I was given; I can't sit here and let mafia control the game after 3! mislynches. I had to say my part no matter what.
Do you think his claim isn't convenient? Do you think lying as a town and only adding role info to match other roles AFTER you're outed is a town tactic? More mafia tactic than anything else...

Not going to tread into WIFOM and shit but come on.

From my PoV; Ratchet I fully believed was town, he's lynching Quick = +1 for town
Prada who I had uncertainties about, but knowing that he's been in contact with Ratchet and he's lynching Quick +2 for town
Myself +3 for town.

Now realistically there's one more town... and you're not helping us... so that makes me think wowee is the last townie and not you...

Why would their be resistance though; I know 100% he is mafia. The only people who should resist it more than having initial doubts is mafia; they gain a lot by trying to trick town into not believing in my claim, whereas town loses everything.
You don't lynch Quick now, it becomes 3v3.. they kill 1 or 2 or 3 who even knows how many kills are left on scum side, if only town die (which is a lot easier list to narrow down with this lynch...) suddenly game is over with this lynch.

Surely you see how much of a bad situation this is.

We as town NEED to be unified and not putting up resistance where resistance is not needed. This isn't the place in the game to dig our feet into the ground and make the wrong choice. We as a collective have been manipulated from the start, lynching our own, plenty of our guys dying over and over again while mafia stayed unified and not losing any members.

When finally shinto's inactivity became too apparent to not lynch him and he gets bussed and out of it Quick is seen as town by everyone.

In hindsight we should've lynched shinto so much earlier and saved us all the trouble, in hindsight I should have doubted the existence of a cop in this setup (though fairly so with the amount of kills that happened in d2 and d3 two invest type roles was really not that doubtful....)

We all have blame on us for how badly we as town have played, but we can pull through in this clutch situation, we can win still. Or we let Quick steamroll us from start to finish, manipulate every lynch as a town mislynch while only losing one teammate due to his own plan.

I know what I want, but I can't break anyone's legs to see that I'm genuine here.

Before I leave, I have two quick questions. 1) @Quick, you told me that you were PMing dead townies. Did you get any responses, and if you did, spill all of it in the exact format. 2) Is it me, or has Crispickle been labeled as "scum" from both sides, given from Quick's and CF's town reads?
