So you didn't answer me the first time around. I said you basically just used your ability on Rot because you have played with him before and nothing more. Why would that be a legit reason to use your ability on him?

Granted I can't confirm or deny how mafia a person is or whether they're SK instead, but your stance does make me feel oh so much better about it that you're in fact mafia that bussed SHINTO who was hardly active in general to gain an easy win with a strong fake claim.

 

What does LM have to do with whether or not you are a Gunsmith or Mafia have a role cop? What you shared with him or whatever wouldn't change, and there's nothing really that you could have said to him and him alone that would prove that you are a Gunsmith/Mafia don't have a role cop. This feels like you're deflecting.

This is pretty much WIFOM, for one. Secondly for two because most town roles have featured some kind of restriction on them, yours would fly in the face of that. The point is you lied to the town there, when there was no real reason for you to do so. You're not likely to catch scum through someone believing you have an unrestricted role, and if it was to bait a kill it clearly didn't work.

Awful argument. You should know that CF is lying, and thus would be the best lynch. On the off chance that there is an SK, and CF is the SK, that's a bullet you'd have to bite, because lynching scum is better than not lynching scum. This passive hand wringing strikes me as not wanting to commit to a lynch because you know CF is town.

Now this is just silly. How would any investigator just know the result they would receive beforehand? It would be different if you said he was fake claiming here, but to imply that he somehow rigged his own investigation to work against you is, frankly, just ridiculous.

 

Why wouldn't it be? If CF believed Rot to be Town, and knew of him well enough to believe then kill was made by scum, because Rots a good player, why wouldn't he check that kill to make sure? The alternative is working more blindly, which is clearly worse than working with an objective in mind.

 

Its laughable that I actually need Town cred for offing shinto considering I had already claimed and said I knew LM had a gun.

Having 3 things to give you "town cred" is a lot better than having 1. Why risk it half assing it when you can go all in.
By bussing shinto and potentially wasting a town vig shot on your goon you not only look amazingly town in the eyes of everyone but you also kill your dead weight teammate by wasting town's potentially only vig shot.

My initial thought was in the post you quoted though. Day 3 results would be crucial to town at lylo, you claiming even day gunsmith means you're able to avoid saying those results. I suppose it's true that as scum, you could make a claim up and misdirect lynch, but it is still trouble to go through it with the situation you were in. That's not exactly why I doubted you there though, it's mostly hard to accept that you'd lie to town for no reason when your claim was so crucial d2
