Well, I went back and looked. Most of my content during that time was Scum hunting. So you really have no excuse for saying "Your content for the first 5 pages of this phase was fluff" because that is a bold face lie M8.

Why don't you go back and count the post that you think I made that don't lead to a read and we will compare. This way I know what you consider Scum hunting and what you consider fluff and if there are a lot of posts I disagree with I can show how I was actually Scum hunting.

 

Well firstly, I feel like you need to understand my mindset towards this game. I'm a big believer in not going for a No Lynch. You should know that, because I spent a lot of Day 1 last game arguing why that is. I was, and remain, suspicious of SK, but nobody else was changing their vote, and so I decided that I had to remove my vote in order for a lynch to go through. In other words, I was putting the best interests of the Town (at least in my opinion) before my own personal reads on the game. I could have stuck with my vote, but then we'd have no lynch, and Day 2 would essentially be a repeat of Day 1 due to it. That's clearly not good for anyone, and given that multiple people expressed some doubt on Nick it seemed obvious to me a lynch there would be better than no lynch at all. I've always been consistent with this mindset, something players who know me will confirm. You will note I didn't vote for Nick, either, because I didn't feel strongly about him. That works both ways, though - I also had no reason to burn a lynch to save him.

As for losing 2 townies, you're right, I'm not overly concerned. I assume the game is balanced to allow us at least three mislynches, and I see no point in panicking after one mislynch. This is, by most reasonable accounts, how I expected to start the game off. I'd be more concerned if we mislynch this day phase, but as of now I just don't see the losses as a huge deal. It's not like we've lost control of the lynch yet, is it? Also, the game counts was clearly a light bit of humour, at least, I'd argue it was clear.

Mhmm. But how is this not a playstyle thing? In fact, how is this different to what I did last game? I seem to remember only focusing on a few players in particular there, too. Far be it for me to metagame, but you can't just pick and choose things to hold against me when it has been demonstrated to you that I do it as either alignment. For the record, I am building reads up, I've just never been one to show all my cards. I feel like I've been able to demonstrate my thought processes clearly enough for people to follow and analyse them, too.

It has nothing to do with playstyle, Globear. It was a light hearted bit of humour. You know, humour is allowed and all. I don't actually think I've judged anyone on the game count either - I certainly haven't implied anywhere that the number of games played is what has determined my read on them, as if that would somehow ever be alignment-indicative. I also don't agree with the bolded, but that's up to you I guess.

Well, are you talking about everything or the bit pertaining to me. Because I will point out you haven't really given me a whole lot to actually defend against. In fact, I feel like of your two actual points that you've raised, one is willfully twisting the context to imply that my read just flipped when everything about it, from how late it came to my posts towards SoulKiller around the same time implies it was a unvote made begrudgingly for the sake of actually getting a lynch, which you ought to know is something I fully believe in given that I went over the point to death, towards you in particular as I recall too, just one game ago. And the second seems to take issue with the fact that I didn't just address every single person in the game, despite many of them being rather inactive anyway, and how it is literally no different from what I did last game in which I was town, which should tell you at best it isn't alignment-indicative for me. So aside from saying "well, I don't have anything to really defend against", I don't really have much to say there.

And what am I supposed to say to that? No? You're wrong? That simply isn't an argument. Anyone can say that. Look:

"I think something is off about Globear".

There is no meaning to it. No actual point attached. Gut feelings are great and all, but they do not make an argument as anyone of any alignment can quite easily just make up anything and attribute it to gut. Why would anyone just follow your claimed gut feelings?

 

So @STINK what happened Day 1? Why were you not anywhere to be seen?

 

I still can't decide if SK's edginess makes him derptown or scum. It could go either way with him knowing his meta.

 

I'm still waiting for that post he promised me at the end of the last Day Phase, and has hinted towards multiple times this one. He didn't have any guarantee that the Day would be extended, so I'm curious as to why it isn't here yet. Was he intending to leave it till last minute to give me no time to respond to it?

 

I saw that post. If he doesn't fulfill his promise, we lynch him. I hate that shit. Why promise to solve and then ultimately don't? Cuz you're ******* scum. That's why.

Still waiting on stink reply, but looking back through the posts quick did do a decent bit at least for phase one.

Also since at Ratchet and Rise are agreeing on something I am going to asume both are scum

Yeah, this is kinda awkward because I thought you were saying you "went back quick to look at post" or something like that. I didn't get you were talking about me until like a min before you made this post.

But you are a Town read because I can tell you are Scum hunting, which is a decently strong Town tell IMO. Even this post shows you are trying to game solve. Contrast this to Ratchet who hasn't really Scum hunted at all much, but have still made some good analysis posts. Hence why I have you above Ratchet at this time.

 

I must have missed it if you've already covered this, but what are your thoughts on Globear and Rise? Anything and everything.

Anyway, seems innocent enough of a slip up, though that is your username so you should get used to people talking about you in reference to quick

 

Globear is one of the few that I think has enough content to get a solid read on. I read Town perspective in pretty much all their posts, so they are a pretty strong Town read for me.

Rise seems completely forgettable to me.
