Idk, it seems hard to imagine Shini existing if they aren't SK. Like everyone here doesn't act like they know anything with absolute certainty aside from a couple of situations and throughout the game, that's what it feels like.

 

It's possible shinigami this entire time has been taking suspicion off themselves and is waiting to play their cards when they find SK

Everyone so far has been acting like they don't know who shinigami is so someone's lying

 

At this point SK is forced to find shinigami so best option no one's lynched and SK has no choice but to kill in night phase to find shinigami so not to be found out. So shinigami is the card to win the game.

So best move no lynch.

 

That is dangerous move... If we lose another person in NP it will be easier for killer to win, right?


It may be dumb question at this point of the game, but what power is shinigami supposed to have..

 

If Shini exists, they're opinion should be strong enough to say that so and so is town or so and so is definitely SK, at least during this part of the game. Ye, you have Schpitt, who seems the most dead set on their vote, but he also questioned Sage at the beginning of this phase, which is pretty unnecessary if he already knew that Ansatsu is SK.

Why would they want to wait at this point of the game though? If they just went out and said that this person is certainly town or this person is certainly SK, then the number of suspects would at the very least narrow to two people with absolute certainty. If we wait for night phase, it would risk Shini being killed if they exist and Shini would have nothing to say because they are dead. If Shini is just SK, SK would just internally laugh and not kill, leading back to square one. I see the benefit of forcing SK to take the first hit so that we have three people alive by the end (thus one less suspect), but what is the evidence of cop Shini existing?

 

They have the power every night phase to check players role and alignment

I think it's a risk worth taking

 

Shini is supposed to be something like a cop, so like L is except he can't die if he targets a certain person. tbh, having Shini and L the way they are and put in a game this size sounds OP to me

I think reason shinigami hasn't made there move was they need to wait each night phase to find SK they can put suspicion till they find him so they need to stay low.

SK is put in position that he has to guess whose shinigami or risk losing

 

@SK we are going to need a count down of this day phase so SK doesn't do any last minute funny business with voting

 

Also will need everyone active especially at the end of the day phase because SK's only option of victory is to push a Lynch and take someone out in night phase so they need a lynch potentially forcing them to reveal themselves

 

Hmm I was doing some research on investigator roles and it seems besides shinigami there's one other left with also the power to check in night phase but they one have one shot to check.

So we might potentially have double the opportunity to find the SK. We just got to make sure to get through the day phase.

 

When? And I don't mean the guide, I mean when was it said during any of the write-ups during this game? Also, what character would SK be if it's not Shinigami from a flavor perspective? I'm not convinced of cop Shini's existence if that much can't been answered.

If they haven't made their move, how would you know they exist? There's literally no evidence and the reason to lay low now is flimsy. If that was their intention, who could it be out of all of us? To lay low now would mean that they had the same intention as you did: to wait until NP to investigate and not lynch this time around, which would mean that they never had the intention to vote. The only person who hasn't vote is me and I already said that I already said that I'm not Shini.

We can go with this plan, but I'm just saying that if Shini doesn't exist (which seems likely to me) or if Shini dies this night phase, then this whole thing is for naught. Even worse if SK doesn't kill and Shini doesn't exist. From what I'm getting at, you want to bet on the possibility that Shini exists because we technically don't have much to lose even if SK does kill tonight? In that case, eh, but if it ends up being unhelpful, you know why.

 

First page says there's 2 independent roles and 3 kiras rest are town

Those 2 independent roles can't be investigators because there's more than 2 investigator roles, so it's most likely SK and shinigami
