Anime Kakegurui Episode 2 Discussion

The sub is out guys!

 

It's incredibly fast paced, i even feel like they're talking really really quickly but it's still somewhat enjoyable to watch but i think it'd be hard for someone who hasnt read the manga to keep up

 

Just joined the forum! Gotta say, I loved Yuki Wakai's performance as Sumeragi.
I think one episode was enough for Sumeragi's battle, since it was a quick one with little gimmick involved. It also emphasises just how easily Sumeragi was taken down by Yumeko, being the technical 'weak' one of the Stuco

Mariya Ise as Midari made me orgasm. Her deep voice was so good for her.

Although i think the card game should have been a bit longer, just a bit leaving it as the cliffy of this episode +.+

 

They still just adpated 1 chapter so they are doing a pretty good job!

 

Truth, i do have to say the way they paced it leaves a good flow for next episode but still.

 

I think with this pace the next arc (Nishinotouin(sp?)) can have a comfortable 1.5-2 episodes. If the former, then the other half of it can be easily filled with some of Yumeko's pet escapades

 

They will feature the whole Yuriko match in next weeks episode as it was shorten the 2 first chapters episode 4 will be the start of our 2 main hero's to join hands! ;3

 

Ooh! I'm excited! Especially for.... That Midari scene

 

I am sure that her arc will look more crazy in the anime then in the manga :D

 

This episode reminded me how fucked up Sumeragi is.

Anyway, I thought it was going to be really fast paced but it wasn't bad at all. I loved when Yumeko got serious and her voice got deep. Knew Saori Hayami was going to do a bang up job. Also the OST was surprisingly good, especially during the gambles.

The rape faces still throw me off though.

Liking it so far.

 

MAPPA is giving the manga justice so far both episodes only adpated one chapter.

 

These kids are mentally fucked up, I mean collecting human finger nails? Gross. So its seems this series is basically about Yumeko, taking down and demoralizing these self absorbed assholes one by one until the current monarchy crumbles. Well I can totally dig that.

 

Oh, it gets better and better. I'm looking forward for the next one!

 

my girl sumeragi was almost as perfect as she's in the manga. Her voice is totally spot on.

i hardly even remember the rest, she was sooo great
