NEWS Fate/Extra Last Encore Anime's Latest Video Confirms More of Cast, Staff

    he official website for Fate/Extra Last Encore, the television anime of the Fate/Extra game, updated on New Year's Day and unveiled the third full promotional video and fourth key visual. Both the video and the website confirm more returning voice cast members and more main staff members. The video also features Takanori Nishikawa's opening theme song "Bright Burning Shout" and Sayuri's ending theme song "Tsuki to Hanataba" (The Moon and the Bouquet).

    The show will also star:

    Akiyuki Simbo (March comes in like a lion, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is the chief director of the anime at the studio SHAFT. Yukihiro Miyamoto (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Arakawa Under the Bridge) is serving as series director. Along with Hiroki Yamamura, Masaaki Takiyama (Tokyo ESP, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!) is designing the characters based on Rco Wada's (Wadarco) original designs and serving as chief animation director. Type-Moon and Marvelous are credited for the original game and original Fate/stay night creator Kinoko Nasu is handling series composition. Satoru Kousaki (Bakemonogatari, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) is composing the music.

    Marvelous Entertainment and Type-Moon released the Fate/Extra PlayStation Portable game in Japan in 2010. Aksys Games released the game in North America in November 2011. The Fate/Extra CCC companion game shipped in Japan on the PSP in March 2013.

    The series will premiere at 24:00 on January 27 (effectively midnight on January 28) on the Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 channels. It will then debut at 27:30 on January 30 (3:30 a.m. on January 31) on MBS.
